Rubies
The feeling is strong,
Liking, loving, hating,
Falling hearts and raining rubies,
The stitches are bleeding once more.
The black lines with black crosses,
Around the body, crying their red tears,
Liking you makes me smile, loving you hurts,
Hating you; of the most makes me bleed from every inch of my body,
This time it’s a storm.
The gems are falling; emerald, sapphire and amethyst, but the ruby is not seen.
The ruby is rare and comes from the stitches, and not the skin,
So please hand the scissors and the string;
For then I can make more rubies,
And make it bleed a bow.
Make a puddle, a creek, a river,
Let’s all take a shower; oh yes,
Feeling dirty with all the black marks,
Feeling rich with these gems and crystals,
I sometimes ask myself is being rich worth the pain?
Oh great, a bay, a sea, a ocean,
Let’s take a swim; it feels like summer,
The stitches are burning; black attracts the heat;
Now let’s cool it off with the rain, the rain of rubies.
It sizzles and scorches
Itches and aggravates,
Fees like burning torches,
The pain is stronger than ever, it makes me scream.
The rubies and backfired, and backstabbed,
They’re sharp like blades,
They shine like stars,
They’re killers on the outside; but priceless on the out;
Just let it hail, its summer time…
