Distraught by the results of December to Dismember, ECW Representative Paul Heyman appeared to be distant and depressed this afternoon at the North Charleston Coliseum hours before an ECW live event.

This condition was further exasperated by Mr. McMahon, who decided to send Heyman home. The WWE Chairman cited slumping television ratings and a disgruntled talent roster as causes for Mr. Heyman’s dismissal.

My feelings on this: Well no s**t DtD was bad.. Vince did a great job in screwing it up for the fans by making it predictable and only listing two of the many matches on the damned websites... I don't blame Heyman.. I blame Vince for this one.

How does everyone else feel about this? I don't see ECW making it much longer at this rate!

I think it's more the way that it was run, not that it doesn't still have a fan base. It didn't have a huge fanbase before either, but it managed to stay around for a while. I dunno.. I'm just sad that it's coming to a painful end.. either as the wrestling show all together or just ending the way ECW once was.
