I love consoles as much as the next gamer, but in no way shape or form is an Xbox a superior form of playing an FPS. Mouse and Keyboard > all controllers.

So true. My first experience with PC shooters was with the first Half-Life, and that convnced me that PC shooters>>>>>console shooters.

My first was Dark Forces. xD Pure Pwnage right there.

Never heard of it. Is it good?

It's like having a migraine transmitted into your brain and increasing in intensity for each second you have the game on. There's like no way to aim. Or understand what the ******** half of the stage was SUPPOSED to be. And there's a lot of red squares you turn green. And elevators. Plus when you run, the game looks like a shitty version of the Jupiter scene of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
But you could punch the s**t out of Imperial Stormtroopers with a wonderfully crafted leather-gloved hand sprite. It's like 10 years old, so I give it some respect as one of the first Sony FPS despite various flaws. It's one of those games you had to play when it came out, or else if you go back to it you'll hate it.

I played it on the PC. So I guess that's a little better. But yes, the graphics are hilariously bad. I didn't know if I was shooting at a cloud or a fat stormtrooper.

The thing that bugged me about Halo was about Master Chief walking SOOO slowly gonk

Which Halo game are we talking about? 1 or 2?

Because last time I checked The 'Chief walked fast in Halo 1 ( do a test if you have both versions for the Xbox ).

Because last time I checked The 'Chief walked fast in Halo 1 ( do a test if you have both versions for the Xbox ).

Yea, most of that is true, but, there's a difference between things that were changed and things that are easier.
I would argue against:
A) The Plasma Pistol. It was changed in Halo 2 so that it's... I dunno what exactly to say... "homing"? That's just how the weapon works.
B) Melees. Wow. They said "How can someone lunge like that?".

...quite easily. neutral
C) Fall Damage. I'm not sure what to say. Whether or not there's fall damage doesnt really matter in my opinion.
D) Plasma Pistol / Battle Rifle. It's just a combo that take advantage of Halo2's shield system. But even so, most people that play Halo2 call this "The Noob Combo" and using it is usually frowned upon.

The hitboxes were the only things that I could understand them not liking. The only problem is, they just pointed the same thing out like, 4 times with different weapons. It's hardly 4 different points.

Nah, you charge the Plasma Pistol, shoot it, and switch to the BR while the PP shot is flying towards the enemy. Once it hits, they have no shields and a single BR shot to the head will kill them. domokun

I would also like to recommend this site: www.halo2sucks.com

They know how to deliver a much better argument as to why Halo 1 is actually very good and why Halo 2 is not that great, than me.

The title of the site does not mean that they are immature.....a good majority of them is intelligent ( also it is 1:04am right now and I am tired ).

The "Top 1,000 Reasons Why Halo 2 Sucks" article was created as a joke...so ignore that one.

Yea, I gotta admit, Im a bit disappointed after looking at the old Halo2 demos and seeing some of the things they originally had planned.
I never saw them before because I didnt care to much about Halo until before Halo2 came out. It's the sole reason I bought an XBox. mad d
And that's probably why I dont argue about one being better than the other too much. domokun

But yea, the only point I can really agree on is the hitboxes being larger in Halo2, that does lower the skill level quite a bit. Most other points just seem like preferences to me.
(Fall damage, Pistol abilities, etc...)

And also, there was a lot that I didnt read. I just read the main points and took their word for it rather than reading all of their evidence. xp

Scratch that. Final Fantasy XII has the best story of any I've seen ever. Political thriller + classic Final Fantasy monsters = Best RPG ever.

Scratch that. Final Fantasy XII has the best story of any I've seen ever. Political thriller + classic Final Fantasy monsters = Best RPG ever.

Meh, I thought the story was sorta boring. I dunno, there just seemed to be something about it that turned me off. Not saying it's a bad game, just saying that it wasn't for me.
