When he slipped to his knees, Ran's other side seemed to kick in, and she pushed off whatever discomfort she was feeling, moving forward to kneel next to him against the partially restored area.
"This place.. Megumi.. why not just stay here tonight then, if nothing else? I know where there's a bed upstairs. We could rest for a while. Maybe it'll help me get past this constant wanting to run."

The restoration finally goes away..it was a type of technique that somehow reforms patterns. It was almost like Kidou, but not the same. It was temporary at best; he was creating a vision of what was overtop of the actual reality, which is stronger than just an illusion but less strong than a literal change of physical truth. It was like the technique was drawing on the 'memory' of the spirit particles in the area. Curious. Still, he shakes his head..
"It's fine. We can go if you want. This place is full of pain and suffering, and the more of that I'm around, the more it makes these strange 'partners' I have want to come out and play. One seems to be mostly harmless, but my other one..you've seen her. She's vicious, and she's getting more and more uncontrollable. Her voice is louder lately..in a place like this..we might just want to go.."

"I don't want to deal with her again anytime soon. I think then, that bein' the case, we should go." She offered her hand again, to help him back to his feet, before moving toward the door, tugging him with her, gently.
"Lets go rest. I'm.. tired. Releasing Shikai is rough on the body the first few times, yanno?"

"I wouldn't know. I haven't opened that pandora's box yet..although I have spoken with..ah! I almost forgot..that's the reason I tracked you down in the first place..I wanted to give you this.."
And he reaches into his kimono and hands her the flower that followed him physically into Soul Society from within the dreamscape he'd been in..the flower unique to Avalon that somehow trailed its way with him on his return from his world inside..

The blink she'd given him before was repeated, slowly, as she reached out to touch the flower.
"It's.. pretty. I haven't ever seen one like it before." that roughened look replaced, momentarily, with a more soft, more serene one. "Thank you, Megumi-sama.." and she leaned forward for a brief moment, lips brushing his, before she gathered the flower into her hands.
"Now, lets get out of here, before your other side decides to peek her head out and blow me apart."

"Yeah, that might be a good idea. Let's do that. Still..this place..I know I've heard or seen of something like this somewhere before. I'll ask my family. Maybe they'll know, gossip is the rage in my family.."
He chuckles and takes her hand, leading her out..
