Arahila smiled back at Ryuk, grateful for a friendly face. Not to mention marveling slightly at how he wasn't only on icon in her mind but now someone she felt a little more comfartable approching. Taking a deep breath she started to walk over to the girl in charge, Aila. She hadn't actually met her before but she knew enough to know that basically she was the head techie and an ex-performer. A really good ex-performer from she had heard. Brushing her hair behind one ear she caught a glimpse of red hair...Ramajan. She turned to look and all intentions of going over to congradulate him vanished at the sight of Liara. There was no way she was going near that vulture. Instead, she resigned herself to talk to him later and walked over to Aila. "Umm...Excuse me? Miss Aila? I'm Arahila, a trianee. I was sick for the auditions so I wasn't abot to try out, but I would like to help out if you need me too...." She trailed off at the end, a little uncertain of herself and what Aila's response would be.
((Yep, Ryuk is a God of Death from Deathnote. A very interesting character. lol. Ugly, but interesting. ))

Kayla reachedfor the winged boy hans and grapsed it firmly with her own. "Yes I'm kayla, that was a cute trick you did there" she said referring to the lounges. It had been a neat idea and oen she might have to copy someday as Liara seemed not to notice it.
"Grats on getting the other trapeze part, I guess your sort of used to height and having strong upper body strength." Kayla figured if you had wings and flew your upper body was riddled with the mucles needed to do that. Though Shea looked more delicate than strong to her.

While bending down to stretch the back of his thighs Ramajan tried to ignore the vulture that continued to throw casual taunts his way. He'd like to see her try to juggle half-a-dozen rings while on a unicycle. Just to see her sweat. No... better make them knives. Sharper than normal.
Just thinking about it Ramajan's right hand curled into a fist, so tightly that a few of his knuckles cracked. A moment later he didn't hear Liara anymore. He straightened up looking a bit confused and then quickly moved into a nother stretch and hoped no one had noticed. Had she run out of things to say? Then he caught sight of her as she moved through the others and she gave occational glances in Aila's direction. He assumed she simply didn't want to be accused of not doing her job, but he got the sinking feeling that Liara wasn't done with him.
The rest of his warm-up was effectively ruined though after Liara's attentions. His control twittered away every time he tried to grasp it. He ended up looking flushed and akward and growing more o all the time because he knew he looked flushed and akward.

Aila smiled. She hated Liara's way of pestering, but she knew that in the end it would only help the performers. If they could learn to deal with pressure calmly, they could perform calmly in any situation-- always a plus.
She nodded to Arahila, "Of course! We can always use the help!"
The woman put down a few notes on the clipboard she was carrying, "How about I get with you after the practice and we'll discuss what you're interested in doing?" she suggested, "For now, I need to get this officially going."
She looked towards Ryuk, who had been picking up the broken self-esteems Liara left behind, and he smiled at her, nodding as he dashed towards the sound-system. The music for the performance began.
"To start with," Liara piped up, catching her cue, "You must know the music. We're going to play this, and we would like you all to warm up in time with it."

Shea shook back with much less force than Kayla seemed to possess before shooting a nervous, sidelong glance at Liara. "Thanks," he said quietly.
"Height yes, strength..." He wasn't really strong in the traditional sense of the word, just surprisingly light for his apparent bulk, or lack thereof. "I'm strong enough." At least he hoped he was. He smiled distractedly and looked up as the music began to play. It certainly helped. Shea began to stretch, much more successful now that he had a beat to move to.

Levana looked up at at Liara as she spoke and the music kicked in on the sound system. This was at least a bit more pleasant. Music always made limbering up more fun. So Levana did as suggested and began to stretch out accoriding to the time of the music.
She started out on the floor just doing basic leg and back stretches and some splits before standing and workign on her arms, legs, neck and back some more. With each change in tempo and phrase in the music Levana would change the way she stretched of what she stretched. She even made certain to do a few back walk-overs to make sure that her back was as stretched out as possible.
Once certain that she was as limbre as she was going to get, Levana sat back down on the mat she had situated herself on and sat in a stradle split so that her leg muscles didn't get a chance to begin to stiffen back up as she waited for the actual practice to begin. As she sat there her eyes lingered over each person there, watching how they stretched and picking up a few new techniques to try during her own time. During her gaze around her eyes fell upon Ryuk as he attempted to repair the damange that Diva Liara had caused during her rounds. If only the woman would get the stick out of her a** maybe she'd realize that instead of helping the trainees that she's only causing more problems. A little kidness didn't hurt and certainly wouldn't coddle people if she was at least civil with her words.

(( What kind of music is it? >> For now, Im assuming its a slow tune? ))
Shima would of much rather preferred a fast pacing beat, but for the most part, at least it wasnt a slow romance-like tune, the sappy kind. Shima cringed at the thought of having that sort of music. Warm-ups in time with the music huh?
Well.. It wasnt too bad, but Shima didnt count herself one of the best at timing with this sort of music. Well, she would have to anyways. It wasnt as if the world revolved around her, she knew clearly. With each beat throughout the music, Shima attempted to match her movements with the beats, though she probably looked extremely awkward with it. Shima's gaze lingered on her bag by the wall, wishing she could choose her own music.
Feeling a sense of familar-ness, Shima watched other people out of the corner of her eye, a cold glance at Liara.
Star or not, that old bat seriously has some anger-management issues.
But otherwise, Shima couldnt wait for the rehersal to start. Pausing in one of her stretches, Shima ran a hand over her hair, to make sure none were out of place.
(( Is it alright if I have Liara approach Shima sometime throughout here? ;DD ))

Arahile nodded happily at Aila's response and retreated away from the group. If she had to stick around till the end for Aila to talk to her then she might as well practice a little. Bending over smoothly, she fell into an almost perfect back bend before walking her hand foreward, resulting in her head between her still standing legs looking out. It was something that took very little effort for Arahila and how naturally flexible she was but pulling foreward this way was one of the best techiniques she had learned to stretch alot of muscles at once. She stayed there for a few minutes, bent over completly backwards, and simply watched the other trainees, secretly glad that she wasn't being critisied by Liara. She seemed harsh.
Sighing, Arahila rolled herself back up right and went into a full split, laying her chest flat on the ground. Maybe there wasn't a big call for contorshinists but maybe her flexability could help her learn something else? She would have to keep her eyes open for a field that she was good at that maybe had a bigger demand for the shows...

((Allrighty. We're going to end this as it's really gone on too long due to my own busy-ness. xD so, the song was slow to start and warm up. Then they worked with the actual music for the production and worked on their parts, and then a slow cool-down as well.))
Aila smiled at the students as the practice wound down. They had made some good progress, though it was obvious it'd still be a while before they had it perfect. They'd be ready, though, in time for the performance. That much she was sure of.
She motioned to Ryuk and Liara, "Allright you two. Stop hassling the trainees." Quickly, the performers joined her, "As practice concludes, I want to let you know that if you need help, feel free to come to any of us to ask for it. Ryuk and Liara are perfectly capable of, and willing to, help you out. That's it for today! Remember, practice tomorrow starts bright and early, so don't stay up too late tonight!"
