Anyone shot one? I was thinking of buying one but wasnt too sure. On www.darksidevideo.org, theres a video of someone ripping one so fast. I thought it'd be a good idea to get one, despite the fact that it looks like a cheap PM6/7 to me.

Im buying the Pulse too, so i would be installing the RF chip into the board so speed wouldnt be a problem.

I just got two of them in at the store I work at (Synergy Paintball in Milpitas, CA). They feel suprisingly solid, the stock trigger feels a bit tacky though. Haven't gotten a chance to see them in action or aired up though because I'm not suppose to test out new guns =(

Oo yeh they look alright. The only thing i absolutely hate about them is the plastic looking trigger and the feedneck. They go together but it looks like they molded them or something. I say garbage lol

My best friend's team won a tourny on sunday and won PMRs for all the members. They feel so nice. Stock 12 inch barrel is rly accurate. Very light but solid. 0 kick. Beautiful....except for the feedneck and trigger and everything else plastic on it

Sorry for the necro...

Ok, the trigger is complete crap, though it is comfortable, walking it is near impossible. the stock barrel in itself is a work of art, aesthetically pleasing though the accuracy isn't quite ball on ball, I would go for the proto 2 peice or better. When you get it, tale the bolt out and change the #009 o rings and the #020 O ring. these will stop almost any air leaks. buy and on off asa as well. the board is good stock though i am probably going to pick up a Virtue. Since tehre is no LPR, kick is there, it has it, no doubt, more than an Ion... though this is not a serious problem when snap shooting, laning becomes difficult the first few days of play. The gun a very consistent and if set at about 300fps 180 OP pressure, you shouldn't experience any shot drop off. This is a great starter marker for a tourney player, and a great marker for the serious rec player.

P.S. The "plastic" is more rubbery than plasticy on the back grip frame and snatch grip, it feels great on your hand while you shoot though you tend to grab teh marker more firmly than you realize while using it.

Sounds interesting. When I was at World Cup I noticed that the trigger wasn't the best. It felt decent but could be way better. I'm sure several companies will be coming out with triggers for it so PMR owners I wouldn't worry if you don't like the stock trigger.

I wouldn't expect the first batch to be so great. Every marker that comes out on the market it has its first batch of bugs.

Actually, other than needing to be cleaned and relubed once you get it, the PMR has had no reported first batch issues. Proto has a trigger out for the PMR in their catalog for the 2007 season and as for the trigger, it is crappily made, proto could have spared that bit of polymer and gave it a real metal PM6 like trigger so you would be able to walk it but then again, rampingfixes that problem. As well, the PMR UL frame comes out in a month or less I have heard.
