Glamrocks blog with Morthan

The stallion took an uncertain step forward and lowered his head cautiously to the ground. His muzzle met earth sooner than he had expected and the Reya gave a snort of surprise. He scowled and raised his head. Not only had he startled himself but there wasn’t even any grass down there to compensate him for his trouble.
He would have stopped feeding at dusk but he hadn't managed to find much to eat during the hours of light so he was still out in the open at night in the cold. Blind. The stallion shivered and took another step forward.
A moment later he froze, ears swivelling.
Hoofbeats, he'd just heard hoofbeats; he was sure of it.
Who could it be?
The albino's muscles tensed and he waited for the whoever it was to arrive.
He hoped they weren't hostile.

Glamrock was out in the open stomping her hoofs and flappingher wings for she was going crazy out in the cold. Glamrock thought she wasnt going to make it threw the winter. She is doing anything for a little bit of warmth.
TawnyAngel
Whoever it was they were making a horrible racket. The stallion snorted to himself and set out cautiously towards the noise. He could feel his breath clouding in the air before him and feel the crunch of frost underhoof. It was too cold to even snow.
Morthan swished his tails restlessly as slow deliberate steps carried him closer to the noise. Each hoof was slowly lifted, reached forward and place down. No weight was transferred to it until the albino was certain of his footing. The winter was always worst; cold, dark and icy. This meant that he was uncomfortable, seemingly constantly blind and that whilst he couldn't see he always needed to be ready for a patch of ice.
A physically and mentally exhausting season.
He was almost upon the stomping person now, he was sure. Deciding that he was close enough, the wraith-like Reya halted. "Will you stop making that blasted racket?" he asked coldly of the unseen Nequus.

Glamrock did some last stomping and the heard a voice in loud tone. She turn around to see where it was coming from. The blizzard made it had to see the nequus but she walked torward him/her. (doesnt know the nequus gender yet)
TawnyAngel
Morthan started at the sudden gust of snow against his flank. Apparently he had come further than he'd thought, he'd been sheltered from this snowstorm before now by the trees of his home.
The white Nequus strained to hear a reply over the howling wind but none came.
The stallion was instantly on edge. Why weren't they replying? Were they trying to sneak up on him? The blue-eyed Reya concentrated harder. Hooves... Walking towards me? he wondered internally. Certainly he thought he could hear the rhythm of a Nequus' walk but it was possible that it was just a trick of the wind.
Possible trick or no, the approaching noise was still a possible threat.
Morthan tossed his head, displaying his savage horn to his unspeaking companion. "I can hear you, you know," he snapped. "No point trying to creep up on me. Who are you and what are you doing in my territory?"
Unless he had walked much further than he thought he had and was now far from his forest home. It seemed unlikely but he'd been wrong before, been forced to walk back quite some distance under harsh morning light. Not for the first time, the albino silently cursed his defective eyes.
Where was the damned Nequus?

"your territory" Glamrock replied "last time i checked this was a free nequus rome zone" Stomping again her hooves like crazy to get the weird looking nequus angry for she thought he had a short temper and she wanted to make him mad.
TawnyAngel
Morthan snorted and flicked his ears in an equine shrug, inciting a fight was not a good idea. "I've never really put a border to my territory so I suppose it might be," he muttered gruffly after some consideration.
The pale Nequus was glad of all the noise that the other - a mare he thought and large by the sound of her pounding hooves - was making, he had a fair idea of where to look. It would be better if she didn't realise his blindness.
"Still," he went on. "Even if it is an unclaimed area I don't see any need for all the thumping you were making, silly child. If this bloody storm hasn't woken everyone up for miles around your big feet will have."
Maybe she had come out here looking for a fight. If she had, he was in trouble. The ground was uneven and slippery in patches underhoof. His horn couldn't make up for lack of sight, especially with his hearing impaired by the howling winds.
"I ask again," he said, tossing his head to show off his weapon once more in the hopes that the sight of it would discourage her from attacking, "who are you, mare and what do you want?"

"well what i want is warmth very hard to find in this weather but if you help me find warmth ill leave you alone" she replied as she stopped stomping her feet .
TawnyAngel
Morthan blinked. He opened his mouth to speak and shut it again. He blinked again.
She talks about warmth like it’s a person or something. …Maybe she's being deliberately annoying. Or just sarcastic. Or she’s stupid. Or bored. Wish I could see her face, that’d make my life so much easier but no because I'm bloody Morthan bloody Wight and I can’t see for apples at the best of times at a distance of more than six hands or so. Arse.
"What," the Reya asked with strained patients, "do you want me to do to help you get warm? Play tag? Call out exercise moves? Left hoof in left hoof out style of thing? Oh, and for the third time of asking what in all lands is your name?"

"yes im freezing and i want to be warm once more" She stud up on her back hooves with pride while flapping her wings as if she was giving morthan a sign.
TawnyAngel
"Aaarg!" Morthan cried, stomping at the frozen ground in frustration. "Has the weather frozen your brain? For the last and bloody final time: what is your name? Tell me that, filly, and maybe I'll try to help you defrost a little! Understand? Me Morthan; who you?"
What in the name of all powers did I do to deserve this? I'm sure I haven't been that bad a person of late, I haven’t been around enough people to be especially evil. Maybe I trod on an important ant. Maybe I murder her in the future and this is pre-emptive punishment, which would be stupid because if she weren't so frustrating I wouldn't even consider spitting her. Grr.

"glamrock is my name and dont say otherwise" she replied as she turned around and walk away form the voice.
TawnyAngel
The stallion paused, somewhat confused by the mare's stiff manner. Ah. He'd shouted. Bugger. "Glamrock. Interesting name," he offered, setting off cautiously after the retreating hoofbeats. "My name is Morthan... Look, there's a pine forest not far from here, that's my territory. It's quite warm there; out of the wind and the snow... You can shelter there the night if you like though you will have to put up with me."
Even as he finished speaking, the pale Nequus stumbled over a fallen branch and folded up painfully and gracelessly on the snowy ground. "Ow," the albino muttered, scrambling back to his hooves as quickly as he could. His knees felt skinned.
The blue-eyed Nequus lowered his muzzle to one of them and touched it lightly to the sore skin. Yes, wet with blood but not very much thankfully. The graze would be painful as such injuries always were but it ought to heal fast.
Oh.
Oh dear.
The mare.
"Haha, clumsy me," he muttered, swishing his tail uncomfortably. "So,” he went on, changing the subject as fast as he could, “do you want to come to my forest or have I pissed you off too much for you to accept the offer?" Please let her make nothing of that fall, please don't let her ask questions...

She replied "Id love to go to your forest thank you but will you be alright"
TawnyAngel
Morthan nodded, flexing first one foreleg then the other cautiously. "Yes, just grazed the skin, haven't damaged the joints or anything," he said with an attempt at a smile, his knees really did sting.
"Well, come on then Glamrock," the albino said as he turned about so that the wind blew against his hindquarters instead of into his face. Hopefully this would reverse his direction and lead him back to the trees. If it doesn't I'm going to look damn stupid in a minute, Morthan thought with an internal sigh.
"It's not too far," he told the mare who he assumed was following in his hesitant hoofsteps. He couldn't afford to walk as slowly as he would have liked or she'd suspect something, further falls were entirely possible much to his disgust.
"It might be quite hard to spot in all this snow though," he went on in a moment of inspiration. "If you spot a whole load of pine tree give me a yell and tell me what direction they’re in, eh?"

"okay ill be right behind you and ill keep my eyes open for a load of pine trees"she replied following Morthan

The elder Nequus gave a snort of acknowledgement, focusing desperately on the feel of the ground under his hooves. Damn. He hadn't found anything to eat either. Tomorrow morning would have to be soon enough, there was no going back on this now and lowering his head to a bare patch would give the game away somewhat.
Morthan strained his ears, hoping to hear the rustle of branches in the wind, the thump of a pile of snow blown from its perch; anything that might give him a clue about the location of his forest home.
I walked out straight then turned... right after a while so the woods ought to be on my left a little way from here. Hopefully.
The skinny Reya cussed under his breath as a hidden hollow caused another stumble. Thankfully he managed not to fall this time but it was still embarrassing.
"Mind the hole," he called to his companion, hoping that it hadn't been an overly obvious pitfall.
Navigating between trees would be interesting. Normally at night he either stayed in one place or walked very slowly and put up with finding the wooden giants with his horn. That wouldn’t do tonight. Sadly no bright ideas came to mind.
She’s going to find out, isn’t she? he thought morosely at the world in general.

Dazing away shivering and sneezing she moved slowy behind Morthan not hereing the warning of the whole as she fell in the whole.
TawnyAngel
Morthan sighed as he heard the thump - not that obvious then. "Yes," he said without turing to pretent to look at his companion, "that hole. Didn't break anything?" there'd be screams of pain if she had, and she'd be dead meat too, nothing too bad then. "Good good, get up and get on then. It'll only get colder from here until dawn so the sooner we're under the trees the better.
Kool Keith
Glamrock got up slowly then taking a few steps and quickly falling back down she was to weak to go any further.
TawnyAngel
The Reya frowned when hooves did not sound through the night behind him once more. Oh bugger. Why, why, why had he decided to get involved? Why couldn't he just have carried on his merry way and left the daft bint to freeze? Well, he could hardly just walk off now, damn him and his morals to wherever was most painful.
"Oh come on you daft creature," he muttered, stalking back towards where he remembered the little hole being. Yes, he could hear heavy breathing nearby, good.
Muttering curses under his breath, the albino Reya lowered his muzzle to the ground and inched forward until he felt hair; her mane he thought. Can't believe I'm doing this. Teeth closed firmly about the hair, careful not to capture any flesh, and the blind stallion began to haul the exhausted mare towards where he thought his home was.
Luckily the snowy ground was slick making the large Nequus' somewhat undignified trip painless or close to it save for the pulling on her mane. "Stupid, stupid, stupid," Morthan muttered around a mouthful of hair.

Glamrock ready to pass out spoke few words "you .... you dont have to do this" As her eyes closed
TawnyAngel
"I know I don'," the pale Nequus muttered crossly and rather indistinctly. "Thath's why I have to do it. Yeth I know that makth no sense at all but - pfft hair! - it doesn't have to. Can hardly justht leave you to freeth to death, my bloody conscience would have a – ptth! - field day."
The wind was slackening now, he could hear it howling still but hardly a breeze touched his body. He must be getting close to home thank all Gods.
One cue the albino's left rear hoof found a tree root and pitched him gracelessly onto his rump.
Morthan cursed and spat out a few hairs that he'd managed to rip out in his fall. Well, maybe that'll revive her a little bit, he thought morosely, staggering to his hooves on the second attempt.
"Come on then, get up," he said sharply giving the warm shape that was still lying on the ground a nudge with one hoof. "We made it, I can't haul you any further because its all trees and their roots and I'd rip your wings off which, to be frank, would bloody suck for you."
The albino made a face and spat again; he was going to be picking hair out of his teeth for weeks.

Glamrock said in a low voice " thank you thank you after i was so mean to you i must resttttttttttt..............." she passed out.
TawnyAngel
Morthan sighed as, after taking a few paces into the pine forest, he heard another thud. "You really get on well with he ground, don't you?" he muttered to the unseen, recumbent form of his companion. The albino shook his head disbelievingly and began to move a little way back towards her.
Some people were just so, so, so… peopleish.
Moments later, a very faint thump informed the world that the stallion had walked into a tree and that it had dumped its burden of snow on him.
Morthan growled and shook away the snowy hat and coat he had just acquired. "Bloody typical," he muttered crossly before closing his eyes to await morning and the return of sight. Hopefully a good mood would see fit to come along with it.
