Nightmare before Christmas has the lead singer of oingo boingo in it,so it's pretty amazing. Corpse bride has a whole new veiw of the underworld, and life after death, so it's pretty amazing. NbC was the original movie of it's time, and forced open the eyes of many conservative, protective mothers, and Corpse Bride sorta tagged onto that, following the same theme.
I love both movies with half of my heart, so i couldn't honestly say which one is better. Nightmare is older, more unique, and has captured more hearts. Corpse Bride is Original, and wonderfully executed(no pun intended) sweatdrop
So they are both awesome, but different, therefore cannot be honestly compared
