...let the whole thing pass me by. girls, I heard something about AFI being a christian-influenced band, is that true? I paid a little attention to their song 'silver and gold' or something.
Um, I don't know. I don't think so, but I could be wrong. They released their most recent CD Decemberunderground on 6.6.6 ... if that makes a difference... xd
Oh and the song is Silver and Cold
...let the whole thing pass me by. if you could investigate deeper I'd be thankful, that song was actually decent.

Ooo...cheese cake.
Well I did a little looking, but they do not look like they are a Christian band. Some of them might be Christian, believe in God and all that and thank him and such, but they are not a Christian band (like Kutless, Anberlin, and all those).
biggrin But they still rock

Well I did a little looking, but they do not look like they are a Christian band. Some of them might be Christian, believe in God and all that and thank him and such, but they are not a Christian band (like Kutless, Anberlin, and all those).

...let the whole thing pass me by. Yeah I never thought they were a christian band, I said christian-influenced band. But if some of them are christians maybe there's something about it in their lyrics. Thank you!

The one that Victum Soul mentioned is really good too. I would love to know the meaning behind some of the lyrics, like for Miss Murder and such. 30 sec to mars... have heard of them, but can't recall any songs by them. Ill check them out.

for all those looking for a good christian band. Try Divinefire.
They are very complete. Symphonic elements, good vocals (f** and harsh) brutal riffs and feeling.

You know, I've noticed something about AFI's lyrics. I've got quite a few songs but it seems to me like a lot of their lyrics are hard to make sense of. *shrug* Some of them, not all. Some of 30 seconds to mars' songs are like that too. I think it's becoming more and more common.
