User ImageLuka stared at this young looking arrancar woman as she started to go on and elaborate on the matter of those scrolls she mentioned earlier. She started with how some human woman snuck into the Academy and stole the scrolls from inside there. That alone was enough to raise so many questions in Luka's mind. What in the world was a living human doing in Soul Society at all? How would they get inside of the Seireitei, let alone the Shinigami Academy unnoticed and manage to steal anything from it, let alone any sort of important information scrolls. Before he could ponder this further, she mentioned that they were going to be given to the 'former Head Exequias' named Ryuu. She also mentioned 'King Rahvir'. The name Rahvir at least he recognized as one of the most infamously powerful arrancar in all of Hueco Mundo. The Lord of the North and master of ice was known all over the multiverse as a being to be feared. The ruthless self styled king of the Hollow realm. He knew not what an Exequias was or what they did as little was really known about the Hollow rank system, other than the Espada of course. He did know though that letting any arrancar get their hands on all of the Kido information that was stored in the Academy was a terrible thing to simply allow to happen.

He was taken from his train of thought though as she went on with her story and mentioned an invasion. That right there was a red light to him. "Invasion!? You mean of Soul Society!?" For the first time, his face showed something other than apparent boredom at the news of an invasion of the Shinigami realm. He generally looked at things in the world from a fairly cool headed and almost analytic perspective, taking everything in, even when it didn't look like he was. Had he not the desire to be dealing with the Hollow threat personally, he might have ended up in the 12th Division instead of 10th, but it was his decision. Of course his generally calm and unamused demeanor changed the moment he heard about anything resembling an invasion of the Soul Society. That was generally big news and not exactly the sort of thing any self respecting Shinigami would wave off as nothing at all. Although despite his different reaction, this young woman seemed to keep going on her rant about this human woman and the 'Exequias Ryuu'. The two seemed to be connected for some reason, despite one being a hollow and the other being human. Perhaps whatever reason had allowed her to enter Soul Society and steal these scrolls were the same reason that she was associated with a hollow as anything other than food. Of course the lack of full details only left him to make mental speculations as the young bat like hollow continued on, mentioning how this Ryu had minions that were more powerful than himself. In the hollow world, that could only mean he had a sharper mind or some level of charismatic influence if he was given fealty by those that would otherwise be his superiors. Such was the manner in which an Adjuchas would be able to command armies of lesser hollow that would otherwise overpower them in battle.

Luka noticed the girl turn her head and look off across the desert, looking to something far off until he noticed what she had felt. Some way out there was an unnaturally powerful reiatsu signature out there. It seemed relaxed for now, but who knew exactly where or when it could strike out with all that power. His eyes narrowed a little before something fell across his eyes, making him blink. It took him a few moments to look up and notice the many small white flakes that had started to descend from the night skies of Hueco Mundo. He held out his left hand palm up to catch some of the flakes, just to see if they were truly real. "What...in the world..." He wasn't exactly sure what to say as the land that had always been a massive desert began to experience it's first change of weather in perhaps since it's creation. He was pulled from this most fascinating sight by the young hollow bringing up that strong power from far away, mentioning he should leave and repeating her offer to help him leave. She sighed to himself softly, not really sure what other options he had here really. "Very well then hollow...I accept your offer to help. On the condition that you tell me why you would help a Shinigami in the first place of course." Naturally, he was untrusting of her. He could tell he would outclass her in a straight fight and that she likely knew it as well, but who's to say she would somehow teleport him into a horde of other, stronger hollow to tear him apart for her own amusement? She did seem rather unorthodox though already given her ranting and dive for the sand, but still, it could easily have been a ruse and he was never very trusting of Hollow anyway, his guard had never dropped as they spoke, save for perhaps that split second that the snow began to fall.

Kiyoshi looked down when Luka asked her why she was helping him. In truth, she didn’t know why she was either. “I don’t know… Maybe I don’t want to see that pretty face of yours get bumped and bruised while he’s wondering around here, looking for a way to get out. Not a place for your kind...” She sighed as she looked up at him. “Or maybe I’m bored and need something to do and helping you is interesting for me. The portal leads to my favorite spot in the living world. Lately I haven’t been able to go there due to patrols, but you should be able to return home and tell however it is you talk to about the scrolls being taken.” She stood next to the portal and waited for a moment. “Unless you want me to go first…”

The endless sand of Hueco Mundo never changed to those with out a clever mind. With a brain one could see that the world was constantly changing under the glow of the moon. It was quite captivating to watch the white sands. Nepo Retaw spent a lot of time doing just that. The blue scaled hollow figured out exactly how the world moved and how to move right along with it the way he wanted to, by swimming. He turned the whole of Hueco Mundo in to his own personal ocean. With this ability, catching pry off guard became so much easier. He would attack much like a crocodile, creeping up on other hollows from below the sands, snatching them in his jaws, before dragging them down to eat in privet.
It was also useful for spying during the few times he was not all that hungry. Nepo had seen many different creatures come and go from this world thru paths that would disappear once they went thru them. All the hollows had used this one black hole they made open out of thin air. Several times he had seen hollows do this and wanted to as well. One day he grabbed a hollow that had just made one of those dark path ways. Nepo gave the other hollow two options, tell him how to open one him self or be eaten beneath the sands. That turned in to a fight where the fish like hollow discovered that he could draw water out of the world around him. It also wound up as another meal for him to. Three years and a dozen or so hollow later he finally had caught a hollow that was willing to teach him how to open what he had found out was called a Garganta.
The hollow was old and much stronger then Nepo, but was also much slower than him as well. It would have lost to him eventually so agreed to show it to him. Apparently the blue hollow was not as smart as he thought he was. It took him several days to even make a tiny opening. A couple of months went by before he had managed to make it big enough for him to even fit in to. In that time he got mad and killed the hollow that had finally showed him how to do it, since they did not show him how fast enough. It was really ridicules, but that did not matter. He could finally go and see what was on the other side.
One earth he ate human souls. They were good, but left him hungrier then before. Lucky for him the same technique he used to hunt in Hueco Mundo also worked on earth. One time he even managed to tear apart a soul reaper. That was the tastiest thing he had ever eaten, but was too much work to get so decided to go back home to the sands.
Right now Nepo was floating thru the air thinking about some of the things he has done in the past, like learning how to get to earth on his own. Really he was just bored at the moment. There was no other hollows around to hunt close by. All Nepo really could do was watching the endless white sands that never quite changing and think things over. Yeah, being a hollow really is a boring way of living. Maybe setting a goal for him self would liven things up in this existence. Maybe he would try gaining power to evolve up the hollow ladder, or even seek out one of those Exquias guys for a shard thing to become an arrancar. They always seemed to be a strong breed of hollows, especially those Espada.

User ImageIn response to his rather straightforward question, the young girl simply looked down as if in shame. Considering it was a Hollow offering assistance to their natural enemy, a Shinigami, it seemed understandable to at least some degree. After a brief pause she started to speak up a little, almost as if she was teasing him about his highly attractive features that had gotten him more than his share of stalker fangirls back at the academy. Although her comment about this not being a place for 'his kind' might not be so accurate anymore. At least not after that incident from before. Perhaps he was a little more at home here now than he really should be. A thought that made him shudder. He wanted nothing to do with this realm entirely yet he had no real choice in the matter. Not only was he stuck here, but he could still feel that thing's presence dwelling deep inside of him. It made him sick really and he couldn't stand it one bit. He didn't even want to think of what would happen if someone in Soul Society discovered what had happened to him either. He'd become an outcast and disgrace to his own squad and home. He pushed such disturbing thoughts to the back of his mind for now, choosing instead to focus on the main problem at hand, his being trapped here and this strange hollow woman that is offering to help him.

The arrancar sighed and also suggested that maybe it was because of boredom that she was choosing to help him. The way she said it seemed almost as if she didn't know the answer herself. It was so strange really. She was unlike any other Hollow he'd ever met and despite his mistrust, he almost felt like she was telling the truth. He refused to lower his guard however as she mentioned the portal lead to her favorite spot and mentioned the scrolls again. She stepped by the portal though at his hesitation and even offered to go through the portal first to prove it was safe. Normally that would be proof enough but if she really were leading him into a trap it would prove absolutely nothing. However at this point he had no other option than to move forwards. If what waited for him on the other side was a horde of hollow, then he would take them all down with his sword and purify their eternal souls. He would never go down without a fight. After a momentary pause he simply sighed to himself before looking forwards at the portal. "Nevermind...I have no other options and you going first will accomplish nothing as far as proving whether it is truly safe or not. I will simply go forwards with this choice and do what I can with the results." He spoke firmly and determinedly, set on his choice now. "I'm going through it. I suppose I should thank you for the assistance if it turns out to not be a trap." He glanced over to her, making sure to remember her face in case they meet again, assuming she doesn't follow after him as he would walk forwards and step into the gateway that would lead to the world of the living.
