Mur: ::shrugs:: It's nothing.
Jakar: Yeah, the closest thing we have to that is dragons & their riders. We have to tithe to them and everything.
Vae: That's actually about right...Y'see, guys have an actual body part there that looks something like that...
???: I'm bringing you to a hatching, son. ::pulls him up on the dragon, and they are in darkness & immense cold for a second, and then in a large, warm ampitheater type place with a sandy floor, and a pile of eggs in the middle::

(Liam): ._. .... why? :: Dreads the answer. ::
(Lena): :: Looks to Mur rather cautiously, then back to Jakar with her sweet, loving smile. :: Do they bless things? What purpose do they serve? I'm a priestess myself, so I'm curious. Don't worry, I won't try to convert you or anything.
(Hanako): ....where's yours? :: Blink blink. ::

???: To Impress a dragon. Get down there! ::shoves him toward the eggs:: Don't worry, they won't slaughter you like the others, I'm sure of it!
Jakar: Not really...They're not really useful anymore other than for the fact that they know all of our hist'ry. But, back in the old days, they used to be the only things that could destroy this horrible rain that devours anything carbon-based...from trees to bones to certain housing materials...Even diamonds.
Mur: Yeah, and now they've figured out a way to combine the people they're attached to with the dragons themselves, so they can function normally, to an extent, but it's mostly unsuccessful...
Vae: ::looks at her evenly:: In my pants, if you must know. Unlike the artificial ones, the natural ones don't stick out like that all the time.

(Lena): Oh my.. what caused it?
(Liam): o_o...... Impress a dragon.. impress a dragon.. hm.. erm.. I could sing.. I guess.... :: Clears his throat. ::
Hitogomi ni kieteyuku Senaka ni mukatte te wo futta Kinou made ga uso mitai ni mieru...
Wagamama mo shitashi tsumaranai KENKA mo shita Aenaku naru hi ga kuru koto mo shiranai de...
Trying to return to the day.. I should have been honest to all that I felt... The wind, the sky, remember... The day we stood, and embraced each other alone...
(Hanako): :: Blink blink. :: Why do you keep it in your pants?

Jakar: The close passing of the Red Star, it's apparently a sort of life form, about the same level of life as a virus. The Red Star was already overwhelmed by it...
???: There's no need to do anything, boy! Just stand there, the dragons know if they're meant for you!
Vae: Um...because it's improper to display it in public, that's why that was kept in that trunk there.

(Hanako): Why? And is it this color green with sparkles?
(Liam): .... ¬¬ Thanks for saying that after I finish...
(Lena): The Red Star...?

Vae: The same reason girls don't go around without their shirts on, or lift up their skirts. And, no it's not, it's flesh-coloured like the rest of me...except when I'm in my dragon form though, of course...*blushing slightly, but hides it fairly well*
???: Just stand there and be quiet! ::Some other guys and girls about his age walk up beside him and form a circle around the eggs, you begin to hear a humming noise from everywhere::
Mur: It's a planet that orbits the same star that we do, but its orbit is very close to our own and it results in a yearly near-miss to the point where the life form leaves their planet and goes through our atmosphere and down to our planet. I believe you can see it...*turns around, looking into the sky* Right...*stops turning, and points at a red dot in the sky* There.
