Though I'm only on one team, I figured I should make it apparent of my departure. I can't say I'm quitting gaia, but I will be more focused on a....more perminant job.
Basically put, I've enlisted in the Navy, and in twelve day's I'll be shipping out for my 6 years of active, and 2 years of inactive duty. I highly doubt my chances of roleplaying with everyone, as I'd love to keep up with my current team. But as such, that may not be the case. Basically put, I want to say this.
I've enjoyed the, what, 3 years of being a member of gaia. I've met alot of people, participated in events and hade some fun rping and doing commissions for people. I'd like to have alittle bit more fun before my life get's a whole lot more serious. Anyone who might be interested in hearing about the endeavors of Boot camp, and life in the Navy, let me know and I'll add you to my friendslist, as I'll be updating my journal whenever I get the chance. And worst comes to worse, when gaia dies, which I'm doubtful it will, I'll make sure to provide my email address, so you can drop off some lines or whatever.
For many fun years on Gaia...

Kinda a funny story that's relevant, last year for perfect attendance, the same person won tha award for 12th Grade and 4 years, which are small scholarships (I got the Eleventh Grade one, and I'm aiming for 12th Grade =D). The funny thing is that he went int the Airforce, which makes them useless XP
And here I never check the chatterbox unless there's a crap load of new psots and none of them are in the teams. At least now I know to read his PMs.

Yes, I'm still alive and kicking......sorry my absense killed the team thread a bit....
If I can get daily access at my A school, maybe I could join up with Team Party Crashers again...^^;;;;;
I'm currently on liberty, after a long 8-10 weeks of boot camp. I can definately say I have a bunch of new memoires and learned a bunch of lessons......like don't call a chief a petty officer....O 3o;;
But other than that it looks like things are still going good for everyone here, and I'm looking forward to joining you all on missions pretty soon^^

Nope...
Typically we're called Sailors, in my case, and career choice, I'm called a "SeaBee". ^^

Think of it like this;
Constructionmen are like worker Bees, building the hives and securing the entrances. The Navy obviously works on the Sea, so if you put two and two together, though in an obviously different order than I had typed, you get the SeaBees.
It's weird.....I know....= 3=

Squids is actually a term for sailors as well, but it's a bit more crude since it's based on living underwater and living of fish and squids. The term nowadays is more towards any sailor in the Navy, but its still not a good term.
