"Come on Freya... Natelin, or whatever you're calling yourself now. Let's get these little one's bedded down, so we can go enjoy ourselves!! I have a feeling it'll be the last chance we'll have to relax for awhile."
The Hatching Feast! She'd forgotten completely about it...no one from her family would be there, of course; they couldn't afford to make the journey, and she hadn't seen them for quite some time anyway. It would be nice to get some food though, maybe drink a bit of that amazing wine...
"Come on dearest! Only a dragonlength to the Barracks," she said comfortingly to Sulaith, following A'ra. Good; I am so very tired, mine.

N'rin sighed with relief when the Weyrlingmaster said they were going to the Barracks. Had just finished his meat and was about to collapse on all fours. Sleep! Sleep! He thought-mumbled incoherently. "C'mon fella, lets get you to bed..."

Dilian looked down at his cloths, realizing he wasn't dressed for a feast. Wait, why should that matter? It's only food. But, she might not see me after this... His usual smile faded a bit at that thought. "Why do things have to end like this?!" With that he slumped down against a wall to wait.

((She's not exactly dressed for a feast either... >< I think all of her stuff is still at HH...))
A'rai came back alone after a while. She looked around for Dilian and found him against a wall. She went over to him and knelt down. "Are you ok?" she asked, worried. Had the heat gotten to him? She debated placing a wrist to his forehead and thought against it. It would seem like she was babying Dilian, and she doubted that he would like being babied... in public anyway...

I'm crazy. I shouldn't. I can't. Oh shardit. Dilian stood quickly, wrapped Alerai in a huge hug, and kissed her as passionatly as he could muster. Standing there looking into her eyes, he made his choice. "I'm going to try and stay here. I don't know how, maybe I can work something out with the Harper Master, if not, I could be a drudge, something."

((sorry Akai, we had a New Years party at our house and I was drafted into making all the sushi and mochi...))
"Nice to meet you too Akai, it's no trouble at all" she said as she carefully accepted the small flit, making sure she didn't put undue pressure on his bandaged areas. "Kopi's adorable, and nice to meet you, Tollyth."
Azulith rumbled in awknowledgement as Akai adressed him. He looked to his bonded as she held the other girl's flit, waiting for Liaden to lead the way to the weyrling barracks. He was tired, and a nice long sleep would be greatly appreciated. Liaden looked back at Akai and nodded, she and Azulith would go ahead of Akai and Tollyth. She started off towards the barracks, commenting to Azulith as she did so. I'm glad that you're not feeling quite as tired, I don't think I'de enjoy carrying you around everwhere.
He snorted at her. I do hope that you aren't implying anything. It would be more like me carrying you around. And I suppose I will one day. Don't eat to much. I may not be able to carry you.
She nearly laughed out loud, but managed to cover it, not wanting to wake Kopi, or Tollyth. Well then, let's hope you put on a little muscle huh? Don't want to be a weakling now do we?
He chose not tp respond to this, walking ahead of her with a kingly air about him, as if there were no one else in the world. What a weird dragon, she thought to herself.

A'rai could only stand there in shock as Dilian wrapped her up in a massive hug and... kissed her. She tried her darnest not to melt in his arms and was on the verge of losing when Dilian pulled back to look into her eyes. Her eyes went wide at Dilian's decision and she openly gawked at him. "Dilian! You're serious?" It was the only thing that came to mind at what he said.
(( ninja I'm fairly certain that weyrling dragonriders shouldn't be having relations until their dragons are older, but how are Alerai and Dilian to know that? *wonders how any of the new weyrlings can know that right away* ninja ))
((I finally figured out where that blue flit Tolan got to... >> He's guarding Alerai's stuff... Wherever it is...))

When Ularyth had finished eating- and was basically asleep-, Kai scooped her up with a little bit of trouble and carried her off to find the Weyrling Barracks. After asking directions of a few returning NPC Weyrlings, she finally managed to find them and a nice empty place to let Ularyth sleep.
She set her green dragonet down and smiled, lightly running a hand down the smooth hide before standing and heading back out of the Barracks; scorch it, she was hungry too!

Dilian smiled, knowing that he hadmade the right decision, no matter what happens now. "I am serious, but lets not talk of it just yet. I say we get some of that feast."

Daniel didn't really want to have his new partner fall asleep on the sands. He needed to move but he felt his stomache growl at his own hunger. Lets get you to a proper area for sleeping before you fall where you stand.
But I'm not.. This is where the little brown uttered a large yawn. Well maybe I am a bit tired...
Daniel lead his new friend out. His thoughts ventured to the feast and he wondered if he should attend it. Daniel decided to get settled in then he would figure out what he would do.

A'rai grinned at Dilian as her stomach rumbled in response. "Think of all the wonderful things we can eat!" she chirpped happily. Feeling her dragon's hunger had made her hungry again, with quite an appitite. She grabbed Dilian by the arm, "Let's go!" and lead them off the sands and towards food, where it seemed everyone else was going.
