Now one thing i've actually noticed is the standardized western IQ test.



The standardized western IQ test can not truly determine a persons intelligence accurately.

As psychologists have shown, we are born with a certain innate mental capacity ( intellegence a ). In the same way that a muscle can be made stronger by use, our intelligence can be increased by the background in which we are brought up and the education we recieve. This is not to say that a child from a stimulating home who has been to a good school simply knows more than a child who lacked these advantages. Life has, in a fact, made him genuinely more intelligent. To put it another way, through having learned, he is better able to learn and to make efficient judgements and decisions. This is known as environmental intelligence ( intelligence b ).

This is just a simple example of what i mean.
There are way to many factors, to simplify all them leaves a wide gap and doesn't correctly guess or determine an individuals IQ.

Although i do believe it's a good system, It just seems to me that it has to many faults.
Although there are still many ways to determine ones Intelligence depending on the type of individual it would just seem more reliable to improve the current testing system.

On the medicine issue. If psychiatrists would prescribe medicine that worked (most those that are being prescribed now had 10 tests or so taken just to get two where they did remotely better than the placebo) at reasonable prices (generics can be hundreds of dollars cheaper a year) then used the extra money to buy medicine for developing nations, I'm sure there would be no problems. Also If humans wouldn't be so selfish that they have million dollar surgical operations to live just one year more lots of money would be saved.
