Happy December, everyone! I hope everyone has a great one and is looking forward to the holidays. =)
On a more serious note, remember that Dec. 1 is World AIDS Day, so please give at least a passing thought to HIV/AIDS prevention, and awareness, and how it is affecting some of the poorer parts of the world. =)

I certainly am. This is going to be the first christmas since 2000 that I'm not working in retail. I really came to loath the holidays for a while.

First time I've seen a real winter in a few years (been stationed in sunny San Diego). Its alright, and I'll be home for new years, but wow, am I not used to the cold.

It snowed here for the first time this season. It was the most snow we have seen all year. Funny, we only got 5 inches. I love the snow especially throwing it at other people. mrgreen

I'm so glad it's December. That means I'm allllmost out of school for the winter. I just have...lots of unpleasant stuff to do before that happens. Oi. ANYway...good point about the HIV/AIDs awareness. You can find lots of ways to help out by going to http://www.one.org smile

December always brings with it my favorite holiday! I just really like Christmas soo much. 3nodding Usually it brings snow, too. blaugh I too used to work in retail (well if you call a grocery store retail) and I didn't like it that much either because of the mass of humanity that always came in and pushed through, etc. It was no fun at all, but now I'm going to be a student again soon so that will change things. biggrin

I have a love-hate relationship with December, lol.
Although on the serious note, I had an uncle who passed away from AIDS, it's a cause very dear to me.
