So yeah,
My 360's been up the duff for about a week now. Anytime I try and play it, it either crashes after a minuite of loadup or shows me the RRoL with 3 bits lit up - Yup, Hardware failure, which usually means a trip back to the ol' chopshop.
I was gonna call them up today, but something happened
30th of November patch. Now, I've checked over the changes they made to it, and nothing in there says about fixing random hardware crashes (I know roughly what the issue is anyway, s'all to do with the multithreading on the processor getting scrambled for [x] reason and sending the wrong information to the wrong areas and coming back with system anomalies).
Since I installed the patch (With much restarting and frustration from crashes) I've had NO crashes WHATSOEVER. People, this is a WTF moment if I ever did see one. All the games I have, movies, demos work perfect. Yesterday, it was on for over 16 hours with no problems at all. I've heard similar stories from other people, saying that patches have somehow fixed the console.
Just wondering if you guys have had any problems with the RRoL, and if so if you've had something this bizarre happen too x'D

My 360 did the, same thing i ended up bring. It back to the store i bought it from, they gave me a really hard time. But finally they gave i, i kept my harddrive and ended up getting a free one from them. ^_^
