Character Name: Ether Bestor

Age (When entered into the guild): 19
Appearance: He has long black hair that is braided back and sflows down to his chest. He wears white robes with rope tied around his chest to keep the robes together. He has blue eyes and small bifocals. He appears pretty weak as one can tell that he doesn't really work out. His hair is a bit of a mess as he doesn't take care of it that much. He has tanish white skin.

Bio: Ether was born in a small town. Growing up in a normal boring and uneventful life. He was always known for his superior intelligence over most people and it was obvious that he didn't belong. Taking some advice, he set off towards a mage's tower and studied the art of magic. It was obvious in the first month that he was a gifted student in the art and began becoming more of a philosopher than a student in the academy. Unfortunately, he rarely made any friends because he spent most of his time in the study or the library reading.

Ether eventually was banned from the tower for his theory on greater expansion on the world and he set out again.

character traits: Ether is extremely intelligent, one can compare his intellect to a modern genius. His muscles are extremely weak and he is a bit of a frail creature.

- Abilities: Ether knows most of the basic elemental magic attacks including some light and dark ones. He is able to read and interpret things pretty fast and solve complex problems.

- Current ideals- Ether actually wants to start up an observatory and seclude himself to continue learning.
- Persona: Ether is a stubborn intelligent person. He is a bit of a bookworm and tends to take most of his advice from books. He dislikes idiots or anyone trying to be funny or foolish. He likes being alone. When he is confronted with another smart person, if the person is not on the same wave length as he is, he might not be accepting of that person. He tends to get really excited with learning new things or expressing his theories. He doesn't know too much about love but enjoys a good romantic novel. He enjoys reading about fantasy but rather read a book that teaches himself something
Weakness: He has no strong close quarter combat skills and solely relies on his magics. He tires easily if he has to run or go on journeys.

Weapon: A sealed cursed blade known as the sword of darkness.
Powers: Dark unholy powers from his cursed sword.
Appearance: He has black wings that seemed to come when he became possessed. He has black hair that will turn pure white if he gets enough dark energy inside him. He has dark crimson red eyes that are usually cold or emotionless looking. He wears long-ish type black trench coat over a black torn army suit., and steel plating underneath on his chest area over his black army suit. He has black pants on and Brown leather boots. His skin is peachy tan and he stands about 6'0" and weighs around 180 pounds. He is not bulky and has as nice legs to make him agile and barely any fat or too much muscle. You'll never see a smile on his face.

Bio:Slaine as a man without a truly wonderful history. He is a man who once lived in a small town known as Akiko. Though once he turned 16, he left on a journey to get stronger. He went on intrepid journeys across vast oceans and lands to the far east and west of the world. Unfortunately he was blinded by love. As he turned 18, he was a slave to a girl named Leyla, a girl who was a temptress. She also had desire for him.

After abandoning everything they had in the world for each other, things went from good to bad decently quick. The archeologists around their small town they decided to live in for the rest of their lives found a sword buried beneath the ground known as the Shadow Lust blade. It emanated large amounts of dark energy and no one dared to touch it after one of the archeologist did. The archeologist who did died of illness the next day.

Slaine saw the weapon one day returning from the woods after getting some lumber for the village. Unfortunately for him, someone was playing with his life. A man in shadows held up his now wife Leyla by the neck. The man said the only way he could save her was to pick up that sword and kill him. Slaine not thinking of reason or questioning picked up the sword and ran at the mysterious man and sliced him in half though the man became energy and went into his sword creating a dark vibe within him.

For the next few years, Slaine lost his life and destroyed much of everything, all because he wanted to save Leyla who inexplicitly died of illness soon after. After years of destruction, Slaine began taking control of his mind. He returned to Akiko just as a mysterious person came into the town and started slaughtering everyone. Slaine saw his town be burned down and his dark energy rose yet again. Slaine had followed the man and found out that the man was named Raed. Slaine fought Raed and lost horribly. Slaine felt the bitter defeat as Raed threw him into the river where they had fought and downstream where He found himself in a small town. There, he was nourished and taken care of. He resides in that town for the time being still weak and stunned from what happened. Luckily, he didn't die from fighting that man.

He traveled to Gaia later on in his life. After settling down in a small town, he began to adjust until as fate had it, he had encountered Raed. After a horrible battle which consisted of a slaughter of 200 people in the process, Slaine left Gaia towns for the very reason he left every town. He just didn't fit in. He encountered a man one day who knew about the sword he weilded to later discover there was now a heavenly seal on his sword. The sword once Slayed a powerful fallen angel known as Kyella and because it did, Kyella cursed the sword to destroy whoever holds it. It was only a matter of time until the darkness would consume him. He never found his fiance, he knew she was most likely dead though he never thought too much about it. He knew Raed was still out there ready to avenge his mother from being in Akiko. He knew that it was only time until he will meet the fate that god had in store for him. Slowly he was losing his humanity and his life in the process. Slaine is now walking on the outskirts of gaia, trying to get away from everything.

Slaine, on his travels after discovering his predicament had learned and mastered the power of shadows and now manipulates it to cause less pain from his sword. As a result, he lost a bit of himself. The shadow power is to prevent him from hurting others around him.

The source of Slaine's powers is his sword. The demonic sword that he cannot let go. That seal causes the sword to sleep. The sword will hopefully stay asleep forever. Unfortunately the sword also has a just desserts and is hurting Slaine in the process. A person with normal will could only last a few years, Slaine has lasted for 6 years and he manages to move on and live.

Personality: Slaine is a bit seclusive and honest. He is true and a bit noble and valiant but doesn't have a romantic type mind but a realistic mind. Slaine is more likely to be conservative with his emotions and tends to hide them from others just because he doesn't want to be judged. He will find himself a bit relaxed at times of peace and tends to read near a tree or look at the wonders of nature around him. He is simple and kind hearted by nature. He is pensive. Though he is calm in time of peace, he is a different person in battle but soldier like almost. He is not a group player and usually doesn’t take commands from a higher authority. He is straightforward and usually takes the more obvious choices. He hates when people are idiotic or not serious and tends to ignore them.

Other:
Slaine's motives are unknown. However, he is known as the destroyer from the west and is a fierce demon who has yet been beaten in battle. Wherever he has gone, destruction and ruin has followed him. Slaine's purpose for appearing near the Castle is still unknown but some say that his sword leads him to where he should go.
