A friend and I have been given the opportunity to direct a play at a local middle school. It's going to be a lot of fun, but we haven't been able to find something that works yet.
Does the GTC have anything that might work I could look at?
-We're looking for something that runs from around an hour to an hour and a half.
-We'd like our cast to be sized from about eight to fifteen.
-A free domain play would be nice, but certainly not necessary.
-I've been looking at mystery plays, but other genres are fine.
And, of course, it's a middle school play. So nothing too mature, romantic, or complicated. >.<
I would worship suggestions, or websites where I could find some ideas. Thanks so much, everyone! heart

First congrats on getting to co-direct a show! Have you talked to your drama teacher about any ideas? Yah, congratulations! Just remember to voice your opinions every so often...remember, you're still a co-director. And that means you've gotta share your thoughts on the directors decisions too.

Arsenic and Old Lace for Middle Schoolers?
I say try "The Trial of Goldilocks." It's funny, there's a somewhat mystery, and it'll be a lot of fun for a kid no matter what role they get.

The Trial Of Goldilocks sounds really cool.
Only I believe the school did something called Fairytale Courtroom last year, which sounds fairly similar. >.<
And of course, were we to try Arsenic, we'd have to do a whole lot of cuts.
Still, it's pretty much the most likely thing I've seen so far.
