Odin Hyrule L o l l i I've never had anyone being aggressive to me in town. Go to the zoo!! In Phoenix Park I love that place! I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I think I heard that in a zoo somewhere in Ireland, there is a chain-smoking chimpanzee. Is that so? I haven no idea.

there's a heritage park in wicklow...i can't remember the name. and if you like hiking there's the wicklow way [i want to walk the whole of ireland]. dublin city's fine, just mind your own business and no-one will touch you. don't look like a target and no-one will make you one, just like everywhere. stay AWAY from the spire, its a piece of shite that they bought rather than buy more hospital beds stare

dublin isn't as "irish" as the rest of the country, but it's very nice to stay in for a week or two. just stay away from temple bar and don't miss the guinness storehouse (best beer in the world, hands down!), the jameson distillery and johnnie fox's pub, I promise it won't let you down.
wicklow is probably the most beautiful place on earth, so I'd say go there as well. it's located south of dublin.
cork is a good bet, and the countryside around it (tipperary)
(damn, I miss ireland so much already! >_<)
