I highly recommend you trying this.
Art Rage 2

It hass a free edition which doesn't have all the features but it rocks.
It won't let you save files to anythig but .ptg
but if you want the image just right click or left click or soemthing like that and then you can press print screen and you have it anyways razz
It is really nice I'm serious!...
Example: Just screwing around.

this one has more natural brushes and tools believe me it is worth it.

*Shrug* I also have photoshop, but I prefer to use openCanvas because it's not overly complicated. What I have works for me. =P
