Hmm.. When I joined this guild, I thought it was for people who had a love of music... which I do. I do, in fact, play the piano, but only because I'm a choir fanatic. I sing a lot of opera, and I love singing in a choir...
I also love wiriting my own music for the piano.
Quick question... or comment... Anyone else listen to NightWish?
And if you don't, you should listen to a few of their songs. If you guys are as bandgee and orchdork as you say you are, NightWish would give you orgasms...
It's like.. Rock metal mixed with opera, with a backup choir and orchestra...
It's great.
Erm... yes... so back to my origional topic..
Is this just a guild for instrument players?

I love it to death! I've been playing the double bass since the fifth grade and plan to continue for the rest of my life. I'm currently in the 9th grade, but I play with the North Oregon Coast Symphony, which is a professional level symphony. ;D My other instruments include the bass guitar, keyboard, viola, and vocals (meaning, I sing).

i was only in a school music for a short period of time.
the teacher was a ***** and the kids in the class creeped me out,
plus i was way too advanced for what they were doing
i took private piano lessons at home for years and years
