After finding something suitable for cutting trees, he returned with a large pile of logs and layed them down on the pile. He began to show his fatigue after his long day of work. Then, he spotted the pile of vines. "Those might be good, but there is something else that might be of use that would help us keep the foundation of our new home much better than vines. I'll wait and see what else she finds." He sits down next to the pile of materials for a moment to take a break.

She came back running. And, behind her were some bats chasing her. When she made it close enough, she hid behind Sephiroth. "I went into the cellar where I found something good. But, when i was trying to haul some out of the cellar; the bats woke up. They been chasing me ever since." She was panting and mostly out of breath. She then thought perhaps it had been a little hasty of her to just take off like that.

He nods for a moment. "I understand. Let me take care of these bats first." He unsheaths his sword and strikes at the bats effortlessly, knocking all of them dead and to the ground. "I think that it's best that I follow you to this cellar in case there are any more bats. It will save us both time and would prevent you being attacked by anything else that may be down there."

Aeris led the way until they arrived at the tower she had mentioned before. When she opened the door, she pointed to the door that was to the left. "Once we open this door, it goes downstairs into the cellar where that mortar is. But, I'd rather you go first..." She was still feeling nervous.

((sorry for not replying sooner. A fierce storm cut our power.))
"Ok." He begins to make his decent. With his hand firmly griped upon his sword, he does not know the dangers that are in this cellar. However, he does think of how fun it would be if there was a worthy opponent down there for it has been a long time since he had "fun".

Aeris waited for him at the top of the stairs, and she really just assumed he'd go ahead and grab the cart full of mortar up with him. She figured it was ok to think that as he was apparently so strong. Surely, she wouldn't be able to get it. She waited against a wall hoping not to run into anything creepy. She kept alert and looked to the sides making sure there weren't spiders or anything. It reminded her completely why she had left living there.
