At least south of Canada, north of Mexico. it's enforcable...and the record companies are on the prowl... it's just... unlikely they'll pick on someone in particular... most of their "tactics" are scare into paying an arseload of cash... there are ways, though, to reduce your chances, one being peerguardian... it's not foolproof though... It is a simplistic firewall, that blocks access to certain ip's, that have been researched to have been found to belong to certain groups such as "bad ad peoples" "fake file people" "riaa people"... their site clearly states that it is for "legal" use only, meaning those who would wish to protect their privacy from these "bad people"...but it works for those doing illegal stuffs... That being said... illegal stuff is bad, you can get caught, you can get in big trouble, you can have to wind up paying lots of money... So... *coughs* don't do it! *coughhackcough* *shifty eyes*
