if they were to make .hack game with the turn based tactics style.
would you think it would be succesful?

I don't think so.
I personally like the battle system.
Making it turn based would be too much like Final Fantasy.
At least, that's what I think.

Agreed. It's almost perfect the way it is. Changing it would result in either a bad PS2 game, or a good PSP remix.
