A Pirate pride concept
Just a quick note :: I will not be running this pride it is simply a concept. I'm looking for owners. although 'kota's rank is 'captain' it's only his name really (nahodha'kota = captain hook) he will literally be an adviser to the pride the first mate and helmsman/ woman will acctually rule the pride!
This pride will basically be a pride of wanderers / vagabonds. They will travel between prides ‘selling’ wares from the prides they have been to before. Basically this means they are pretty much always traveling and can pick up those whom wish to travel. Like a ship they do have a birth though, that birth is a large cove by the sea, fenced in on all sides by great rocks and down upon this beach, an old wrecked ship, downed long ago by a storm on the shallow reef.
The pride returns to these shores every so often it is a safe place to bear cubs and simply be together as a pride, it’s a great place to rest and recuperate though they are never there all that long, just until they can pick up and go once again, cubs and all.
As with most pirate groups this is a multi racial group that means it doesn't matter if you're a lion, a hyena a cheetah or a wild dog (or any other beastie for that matter!)you can join and wander the world!
History
Once he left the pride lands Nahodha’kota found a love for traveling the world, he discovered ways to make things and found things in his travels which others valued. He found out that one pride, didn’t necessarily have what another pride had, though they might find these things useful and so he decided to form a pride a wandering pride, a trading pride, a vagabond pride thaw as hardly ever still because of it’s itchy paws.
'Bout the leadership
Basically although Nahodha’kota will be the ‘captain’ of this here ship he won’t be running the pride (he'll be a sort of advisor / go to guy for the pride but he won't be the ruling body). The ‘first mate’ and ‘helmsman’ will plot which course they are to take, ‘kota will simply be there to keep the pride together.
Religion
As they are pirates they are very in to superstitions, they believe whole heartedly in ghosts, spirits, seers and the gods and believe they will guide their paths. No good can come off an upset spirit so they leave ‘treasures’ at the seas edge to hopefully appease the gods and the spirits and keep their pride safe even on rocky shores.

Personality / history : Born in the pride lands, he was the odd one out in his litter; he was also the only male in the litter. Growing up he had a lust to see the sea and a love for adventuring, he even met a seagull whom taught him of pirates (which is where he got his accent from XD!). As his mother was a rogue ‘Kota grew up even larger than expected, his jet black coat and charcoal eyes sparkle with life, he’s a friendly lad and will happily look after a group of lions if they are willing to travel with him.
