The kids were asleep, after a long bout of playing they had finally tuckered themselves out. Msuluhivu smiled warmly at their sleeping figures, they were so cute when they slept in trees. Quietly, she made her way over to the river.
"They'll be hungry when they wake up." She said with a chuckle before lashing out and snaring a large fish in her claws. She held it for a moment before setting it a few feet from the bank of the river so it wouldn't flop back in.
Such a peaceful day it was in the jungle, nothing had gone wrong today, and she felt like all her responsibilities were more like a simple task than a chore. Hivu was in a good mood today, she would probably even be glad to see Tego, should he show up. And that was a first, whenever they met there was usually much arguing.
Nothing could go wrong.

Sheba had chosen to walk through the dense jungle rather then fly over it. While this might seem foolish, she found it perfectly reasonable. From the air she could clear the trees without any problems arising. However, she could not go and visit mortals or give aid if the situation arose when the trees were so thick. So she moved about on foot, dodging vines and bushes with praticed ease and grace that only a goddess could have.
She paused for a brief moment, feeling a strong tug from her domain in a certain direction. She followed it obiediently, keeping her senses alert and her movements quiet.

Unaware of the aproach of the goddess, Hivu continued to fish, eventually ending up with four fish, one for each of them. Daintily, she began to eat hers, enjoying its distinct flavor. She wasn't terribly hungry, but she had to keep her strength up after all.
When she was finished, she carried the fish over to the base of the tree where her cubs slept. They would find them when they woke and they would eat. In the meantime, Hivu went back to the river to enjoy the nice day.

Bathsheba came across a flowing stream as she went and walked along its bank, for the trees were clearer there. The tug of her domain was also drawing her upstream so it seemed very practical and it was obvious she was on the right track. Finally she spotted a leopardess not far away and she was sure this was it, "Hello there."

Hivu flicked an ear in the direction of the words before turning her head to face it. She blinked a couple times before smiling and standing up to greet the goddess, "Hello to you too, my name is Msuluhivu." She said with a respectful bow of her head.
She would have been much more surprised had she not met a god before. In fact, he was the father of her children, but it wasn't a big deal. Not in a bad way anyway, she loved her children, and she loved Limbuko.
"If I may ask, what brings one such as yourself to the jungle?" She asked politely.

Sheba nodded her head in respect, though her demeanor remained poised and collected. There was no doubt about it, this had been the strong call she had felt. But it wasn't the usual tug that required her assistance. In fact, by what she sensed this leopardess was far more dutiful then most. It was very admirable. "I am Bathsheba," She murmured, "It is a pleasure to meet you." She shifted her weight back slightly so that she stood straighter but was also a bit more relaxed, "I was simply making my rounds."

"Pleasure to meet you as well, Bathsheba." She said with a pleasant smile, "If I may ask, what is your domain?" She asked curiously, sitting herself down and wraping her tail around her paws. More out of habit than anything.

"Something you understand very well. Duty," a small smile formed on her maw. It was tiny and almost unnoticable, but it was there and it went along with the slight softening of her eyes. This leopardess's duties were nothing so vast as ruling over others or managing any sort of area, but they were extremely important none the less and she performed them with great care. This she could all sense, almost like visible threads branching out in her mind's eye.

Hivu quirked her head at the goddess. "I never really thought of it that way, but I suppose I do my duty by protecting my cubs and such... Though I doubt I'm more dutiful than most, I've seen others who do much much more than myself." She said modestly. She knew that she did her duty and she did it well, but she had yet to realize how important she really was in the lives of her cubs.

Shebia's eyes crinkled in slight amusement, and the corners of her mouth twitched pleasently in a smile. "Maybe your duty isn't a big one...but you certainly do it better then most. And it certainly is imporant. It makes a huge difference in more then one life and that in itself is a great feat." It was true. She could see Hivu's thread of duty and it was stronger and thicker then many she had seen in her travels. It generated a great respect from her soul. So many chose to neglect duty for selfish reasons, but this leopardess was very different from those individuals.

"Well thank you, miss Bathsheba. I suppose you ought to know, duty being your domain and all." She said with another polite bow of her head.
"I guess I do make a difference, my cubs nead me." She said with a nod. "I never realized how important I was before, I always wondered of my purpose. Thank you very much for telling me that, it means a lot." She said, flicking her tail slightly.
