The foxy male slunk out of the shrine, wearing a new ivory bracelet on his paw that complimented the gold chain around his neck. Some malu had placed the bracelet as an offering. He hadn't paid attention to what shrine it was, that wasn't what was important. The bracelet was what was important. He knew just what he was going to do with it too.
Trotting down the hallway, he seemed content to have gotten away with the theft, it helped get his mind off of... other things...

Amadeus cantered quickly to get to the other doorway before the fox colored Malu did.
Stepping into the doorway, standing tall and giving the Fox Malu a very serious but still polite look he strolls in blocking the exit from the Malu.
“Pardon, but might you explain why your taking something from that shine that is odiously not your own?”
he said in a calm patient voice

Vulperomes smoothly comes to a stop and eyes the large malu in front of him, "How can you so blatantly assume that I'm not taking something back that belongs to me?" He asked coolly. This malu, tall, regal and stopping him from committing a crime... he must be a justice follower. Hah, he had just the trick up his sleeve for this male.

Amadeus raised a brow “I know those worshipers. And I know they offer there valuables to there gods” he said “I’m not assuming anything. I’m just making sure no one is doing something they should not be”
He turned his chin up slightly, examining the other Adult closely,
He recognized him… though barely. Perhaps someone he met when he was younger?

Raising a brow he frowned at the other malu, as though disappointed, "If you must know, this was stolen from a friend. Being a follower of the god of justice, I couldn't very well let the malu get away with theft." He held his head high, confident ears perked forward, not a hint of the lie he was telling even in his stance.
"I admit it looks suspicious, but this is a very dear trinket to my friend. I found it for her and gave it as a gift. Someone else stole it. I've found it and I am going to return it to her. Do you see anything wrong with that, sir?" He asked, raising a brow.

Amadeus’ ears perked forward slightly,
“Justice… are you a follower of justice?” he lowered his face a little mouth open slightly in surprise.
He seemed to go about things differently then Amadeus would have. Stealing things back was not his game, but from what Vivaldi had told him, there where many ways of bringing about Justice.
This Malu didn’t look like he was lying to Amadeus, so maybe he should trust him that he’s doing the right things for Justice.

"Yes, I am." He held himself proudly, "It is not for you to decide how I will carry out Justice. A wrongful deed has been committed and I will serve my god by righting it. I will not strike against the malu that misbehaved, but rather correct his mistake." He paused after the speech, looking at the other malu regally.
"Can you understand that? Whatever god you follow, maybe it doesn't make sense to you." He frowned.

Amadeus just stared at the Malu for a moment. Then with a chuckle shaking his head he stepped to the side to let the Malu pass
“We have very different styles. Yours I might not understand. But a follower of Justice I can respect. Pardon my interference,” he said bowing his face slightly in respect to the other Malu

Vulperomes bowed his head respectfully, "A fellow follower." He said, completing the perfect lie, "I do hope we meet again, and I thank you for your understanding." He trotted past the malu, moving down a few corridors before allowing himself a laugh.
