Daniel took a moment to regain his balance. He was wiped, of course, but the thought of food propelled him forward. Though he could already feel it, he'd definitely be feeling more tomorrow. "Why did you ask?" He asked happily, moving his head to shake off the exhaustion as best he could.

"I just can't imagine you fat, wailua kai." Again, the thought of Kimo even being chubby made him snicker under his breath. "Let's go!" He repeated, blasting off toward the snack stand with newfound energy. It was still half as fast as he normally ran, but he could run, at least.

The thoughts of his classmates' whispering voices were completely gone from his mind now.
