Okay for some of you who don't know me I'm Kougra a colorist and the roleplay manager for the shop. I'm going to run you quickly through some rules of roleplaying here at Namiah.
General Terms:
IC - In Character
OOC - Out of Character
FC - Feature Character
OC - Original Character
Rules
- First off and most importantly follow these rules and Gaia's TOS
- No God-moding or in other words controling another persons character.
- Don't give your Namir power it doesn't have, they arn't dragons so they can't breathe fire and if your Namir doesn't have wings it doesn't have the ability to fly unless we say so. Please don't randomly give them outragious powers.
- You can not kill or injure another Namir without the consent of that Namirs owner. This should be just common sence. >.>;
- Keep Namir love rps to a PG-13 level or lower.
- If you're not invited to a PRP ask before just joining in. It's considered spamming if you're not invited and it's rude.
- Though it is not manditory it is recomended to keep track of all your roleplay in your Namir's journal. It makes it easier to tell if you're roleplaying and consistant roleplayers often get special benifits.
- More rules may be added as issues turn up.
I roleplay in a lot of guilds and I found it helps to keep things organized by just using a simple label, like I did, in the title of the thread you are making. Below are listings of what we would like to see you using.
Posting Formats:
[PRP] - Meaning Private Roleplay and it can be used when you don't want anyone to join in on your current roleplay with other Namir owner/s
[ORP] - Meaning Open Roleplay and it is open to anyother characters who want to join in the current roleplay. If you begin to get too many characters in your ORP you can freely change it to PRP to not accept any new members.
[OCC] - Meaning out of Character it can be used to gather other owners in a roleplay plot, find a mate for your Namir and so on... It should only be used though when looking for people to plot with because this isn't the chatter channel wink
