Disclaimer: I will intentionally get some of this stuff wrong. So please, clear up any of my misconceptions. Also, don't know if this been discussed before.
H0: My theory is that one's strongest natural elemental trait affects how you deal with it, when you find someone is better than you at something you feel you should be good at.
Water Elementa:
Appreciation of one's own beauty/brilliance.
Problem: If someone is better (mentions Reis' name) at maneovring than me, since that's one of the things I know should be good at. (This is a TCG specific instance.) But her being better than me, gives me no opportunity to be inwardly amused at my own brilliance.
Negative reaction: What is it that missing within me? What did I miss seeing?
Active reaction: Pestering and observing said person until told or manage to figure out exactly how it they can manage said ability.
Oh ... and this 'theory' will be edited according to discussion and comments made.
