The day was growing late, clearly by the soft wind that flowed from the south as well as the reflecting sunlight on the western clouds. The colors mimiced that of a leopardess that wandered through the southlands, her eyes catching sight of all the new visions that greeted before her. Being from the jungle, she was unused to the creatures and the features of the southlands, and yet she wandered, continuing her search for any and all that would meet her.
Pausing her her steps, she looked up to the sky with a sort of serene smile, her light lavender eyes memorizing the skyline while her chest raised with the scents of the drylands. Her pelt was thin, and seemed to ruffle like waves with each breeze, the white tail almost a flash as it weaved and caught the light. Nalani was a beauty indeed, and had always used it to her advantage. Cold to all around her, she took all and gave none back, just as she was taught as a young cub.

Nuhusi was slowly starting to come alive again, for the night was coming and it was calling her to rise. She shifted her thin form in the grass she had huddled down in, stretching out her unused muscles without getting up from her side. Finally she turned with a delicate yawn to sit up, her tail curling outwards for balance. She smiled a little to herself, feeling her whiskers lift. It was going to be another beautiful night.
She stretched one final time and then got onto all fours. She peered around curiously with her bright orange eyes, glancing around at her surroundings. Hm...where to go next...? Life was a never ending game that she intended to play.

Paws moving once again, Nalani seemed to flow through her steps, her paws trailing as once more she moved on with no goal in mind. It was the simple way of a wanderer, always traveling and never halting for more than a day. It was how she was made, and in the end how she would forever go on.
Slowly, her paws trailed back towards the green spance in the distance, the jungle humming with life and reeling her in. It was an alluring enigma, maybe from her times of being there as a cub, or maybe it was the thought of the creatures that lived within, and the game she always played. Either way, she continued back towards her home, or whatever she would call it.

Nuhusi looked around in order to get her barings. In the process she caught sight of a flash of pink. It was a color that was hard to miss, for it didn't exactly...blend in. Curiousity filled Nuhusi's gaze as the fur above her eyes rose. Such bright colors were not something one often saw on an individual. A sign from the spirits perhaps? It was possible. Making a few protection and respectful runes in the ground with one claw she slipped onto all fours like water over a rock. She then began to lope towards the other at a smooth, easy pace. Lets just see how this is, mm?

For the time being, the leopardess simply moved blissfully through the lands, and thus ignored any sort of disturbance from her travels. However, soon enough she found it difficult to miss the figure that came her way, and slowly her pace moved to a stop. Looking ahead, the leopard narrowed her eye slightly and lowered her neck. A black one wasn't too hard to miss either, and Nalani knew the one before her was not male.
"Perfect..." She purred out deeply, her tones laced in a husky accent, clearly another tool in her efforts to dominate all in this world, "...unexpected company..." With one last look at the one approacing, she turned and made way to her right. Maybe she was wrong about her follower, but there was only one way to find out.

Up close the leopardess seemed even stranger to Nuhusi. Definately a feline affected by the spirits directly in some way...perhaps only at birth to change her coat color, or perhaps many other things. She offered a smooth smile, amusement and interest flickering through her eyes. She didn't only have to be with a male to have fun. Fun had so many meanings...being overly "social" was only one of them. Today she would be having far different company, "Well...imagine my surprise, waking up from a good sleep to see someone pink walking around." Her tone was friendly and teasing, but held no harm nor offense. She was too casual for that sort of thing.

As soon as the words left the other's mouth, Nalani closed her eyes and seemed to cringe in defeat. Turning her head slowly, she seemed to narrow her eyes in a sharp glare, mentally commanding for the darker one to leave now and just let it go. When it seemed as if that wasn't happening, she collected herself and settled upon her haunces.
"Jelous?" She purred out softly, a slow smirk crossing her maw, "While not all of us can be blessed with such...unique markings, I must say that you aren't a complete loss..." Raising her brow at that, she added, "All you need is a bit more flaire, and you can captivate a male quite easily." And there she went again, the sceething nature out and on the prowl.

Nuhusi laughed, her eyes glittering in utter amusement. "Oh my word no! My coat is the perfect shade. I could not be more grateful if wanted to be," she told Nalani, genuinely finding her question hilarious. Jelous of her coat? Baaah, that was so stupid! For Nuhusi was blessed completely by the spirits with her black. Spirits would not bother her because of it. While others had trouble with such things depending on their coat hue. She did not. "As for men," she said with an easy curl of her tail, "I've met many that I've been able to have a good time with. No no, I fear you are poor at judging my worries." Did she really have any worries? Nothing to speak of really.

Had there been any surprise, Nalani was not one to show, instead she just let out a light laugh, mocking and daunting. Once she was done, she let out another low purr before moving to stand. Stretching her back with a slow curve, her body was alluring and yet more of a flaunt than anything else.
"You and me both, darling," She said softly, before moving to padd away, "You and me both..." Hopefully, Nuhusi would take the hint and leave.

Well someone seemed to be unhappy with life. Nuhusi crickled her eyes in amusement, but didn't follow. It was Nalani's to waste, after all. She wasn't the type to lecture. With a casual, good natured hum she began to stoll away as well. She, on the other hand, was going to enjoy life to the fullest. Being bitter just wasn't worth the effort. It just left a sour aftertaste, after all.
