 The herds were created by Neptune and led by his son, Triton, and therefore believe strongly in the Greco-Roman pantheon. The Priests and Priestesses of the herds, however, are not nessesarily "religious leaders" as much as members of the herd gifted by their particular god or goddess. They are marked from birth and generally train their skills around their late childhood years with the current priest or priestess of that god or goddess if there is one, or with another if there is not, often resulting in these young merhorses having to travel to other herds.

2-Male gods always have priests and female gods always have priestesses.
3-When you get a priest or priestess character Sunny will pm you with a list of your characters stats as well as their special abilities and it will go into great detail about what your new pet can and cannot do. Even though these pet have gifts from the gods and goddesses please do not godmod! Nobody else will know the extent of your powers but if they feel you are abusing them Sunny will be very sad.
4-Each god or goddess may only have one acting priest or priestess and one acolyte priest or priestess at a time. The only acception to this rule is if someone is completely inactive.
5-They may breed but their offspring will not have their markings. Especially since a lot of the markings may actually be tattoos. Their offspring will also not have any extra chance at being a priest or priestess (it is, actually, probably possible that you could bribe me, especially if you have a good reason for keeping it in the family, such as if you played the priestess of Demeter and wanted a priestess of Persephone as a child...but you can pm Sunny about that).
6-We're only allowing Greco-Roman gods and goddesses at this time.
