I was watching a couple of TV shows and... it seems like many PS3 games at the launch date had bad reviews.. =/ The only ones that did get good reviews were like.. sports games.
And out of those launch titles, there was also a Gundam game, and.. yeah. =/ As cool as it was watching a very detailed mobile suit walking around in a detailed map, ... Water physics and other basic flaws seemed to turn down many.. >_<
Anyone here got a PS3 and this game? What do you think about the game?

I hear even the more hardcore fans are pretty disappointed with the game.
I've heard something about being able to make custom paint jobs and emblems for the suits which fans love (who hasn't thought of a custom paint job of their own mobile suit?), but the controls don't make up for it.
Maybe their next outing will be better.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Counterstrike is most likely going down as one of the worst games in history. If you saw the game play footage it’s easy to see why. The fact that the developers tried to pass this game off as a next gen game insult to the gaming community, it looks like an early PS2 title. Sadly this seems to be the standard when it comes to Gundam games with the exception of the Battle Assault series all the other games with the name Gundam attached to them pretty much sucked big giant cold metal robot a**.
Oh yeah and on one has a PS3 because there all on EBAY

If the game we are talking about is the same one I saw on the web, then it is exactly the same game play as Mechwarrior, which isn't all that impressive.
On a different note there is a SD Gundam game for the Wii that looks more interesting than the 3D one for XBox and PS3.
