"That's Mizu for you though..." he said with a slight chuckle before eyeing the basket. He was indeed hungry. Todding over he got on his knees and opened the basket to see what was inside.
"Now let's see just what she packed in here..."
((Basically I'm giving you the chance to choose some of the things in the basket, so feel free to say whay Daine sees in there ^^ I don't want to pack things that she doesn't like ^^))

Daine blinks and shrugs and went over to where the basket was on her knees, being so tall and what not, she glances into the basket "lets see, sandwiches, juice boxe, there'e ice cream in here?" she asked and took one of a sandwiches and a juice box and then sitting back.

"Ice cream? Wow...Mom thought of everything!" he said with a laugh as he tugged out a juice box and a sandwich and began to nibble on it, eyes trailing back to the sky. It was a nice day out today, though a bit nippy.
Setting the sandwich on his lap he took a swig of juice then smiled. "So what all did you do this Christmas? You do celebrate Christmas, right?"

Daine took a bite out of her sandwich and set it on her lap and took a sip of her juice "Mostly stayed at home and opened presents and yes I do Celebrate Christmas..If i didn't that would be crazy" she replied and took another bite from her sandwich

"Oh...okay...I just heard that other people celebrate other holidays this time of year besides Christmas, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't assuming that you celebrated it like I did...that would have been embarassing if you didn't..." Bah...he was rambling again. He took another sip of juice and nibbled on his sandwich some more.
"Mine was basically the same. I didn't get very much though...Mom's been tight on money as of late...but I don't mind really that I didn't get as much as others would. I'm just glad I still have my family and our house ^^"

Daine nodded her head agreeing with him "we just have to be glad we have what we have, other children in other places aren't as lucky as we are.." she replied with a slight frown

"That's very true," Syrus said with a small nod and finished off the rest of his sandwich. As he gulped down the last bit of his juice he smiled a little bit. It was nice to have Daine around.

"Welll..." Syrus said after a moment. "We can't rightly just leave that ice cream melting in the basket, now can we?" he asked as he slowly eyed the basket and headed over to it.

"It's settled then!" he said as he began to dig through the basket. Soon two bowls, each with their own spoon and ice cream lay on the picnic blanket. As he looked for napkins he shoved one of the bowls over to Daine.
"Dig in!" and with that he yanked out a few napkins and scooped up his bowl.

Inu got right behind him when he heard the bushes. He knew that it would be bad to leave him there if it was some kind of predator. He just stood and waited for what Kirou would do in this situation.

-Kirou simply just fluttered his wings and turned looking at Inuyasha with a sad look upon his face-
"joe, Inuyasha... lets go find mom."
-It wasn't long before I came into view from the trees-
"there you are. Come on in your vase I'll have something to show you"
-Joe carrying Kirou's vase and his pumkin fallowed Rakura as she smiled-
"You can all come and see if you like."
-rakura then started back in the woods Carrying Kirou. So Joe could focus on his pumkin.-
-Kirou got in his vase and thought why his mom was gone so long.-
