-Gaara slowly began to scrape at the insides of his makeshift coccoon as his mind pulsed in agonizing pain. He continued to feel the rage, and the Shukaku began to speak within his mind. 'The one who bested you is so close...make him suffer...make him pay....' No, Gaara could not and shall not. Not only because he was the Kazekage and the ruler of the sand, but because he was Gaara Of The Desert, and his mind was set on controlling himself not letting some giant raccoon thing do it for him. He would not let his life be taken away again.-
-Gaara needed something. That old habit was rising once again, the need to kill, to feel, to destroy something and anything he could get his murderous intentions upon. His eyes dimmed gently as his red hair moved with his arms. He made clenched fistss against his coocoon and silently prayed for freedom, to the desert. He always prayed to the desert because it was the only thing he revered above himself. He made a long pause, and opened his eyes. They had changed, to something all to familiar.... The coccoon slid away and he stood up, raising his head in pride as he looked at Neji, who was keeping watch.-
"...Stay...I need to go...to remind myself i'm alive...."

Sorry. Not that far into the manga quite yet. And I know he is, but that's not what I was referring to. When Gaara turned seven he sort of lost touch with kindness and I named that personality the Shukaku, while Gaara is the kind little kid everyone left behind.))

Sasuke groaned and opened his eyes, trailing down to the ground, where it seems Gaara has left. He frowned and jumped down next to Neji, looking at the Hyuuga. "Where is the Kazekage?" He asked, wondering why the Hyuuga let their mission leave unattended.

Neji gave him a blank stare. "You're kidding right? He wanted to be alone, but he isn't in a far enough range that I can't see him with Byukagan. Tilting his head to the stars, a small smirk crawled onto his face. "Too bad your not still around." He mouthed to the moon.

((Sorry all for the no posting but I got in trouble at school and at home with the p units so I have to make up some things and get my grades back up. So I won't be on as much because of my make up classes. I will still try to post as Naruto but if you wish me to no longer roleplay as him I understand and will give up my spot as Naruto so someone else can roleplay as him.))

-He huffed in great exasperation as he clutched at his head. His fingers ran through the strands of his red hair as he grunted. Some bodyguards, one dead asleep and the other two could not sense the great loss of chakra he was suffering. It was taking all of his strength and will power not to go on a murder spree on this night. Why? Why of all times had it begun to act up -tonight-? What was different about tonight? Was it the Hyuuga, Uchiha, and Uzumaki? Yes. Yes, that had to be it. The three of them were influencing him, and-and he was falling for it!? NO! Gaara refused to let himself be knocked away by lesser Shinobi. He breathed in and stood up tall, sighing. The darker Gaara he had rightfully named Shukaku was still in charge, but not enough for him to kill.-
-Gaara turned on his heel, his hands crunching against bark as he pushed from the tree. He returned to the camp and looked to the Hyuuga and the Uchiha.-
"...Go to sleep. I'm holding watch."
-It was blatantly clear he wasn't getting any sleep anytime soon, so he sat down and placed his back against the tree. Arguing wasn't an option.-

Sasuke looked towards Gaara, glaring at him. He really didn't care if Gaara would be up to watch. He just didn't like the red head's tone of voice. He scoffed and looked back to the Hyuuga, waiting to see what their "Captain" would do.

Neji rolled his eyes at his response to Gaara before flickering his gaze onto Sasuke's own eyes. He felt as if Sasuke's eyes were screaming, "Sand certaintly got an idiot as their Kazakage, thinking that we're to sleep on a mission."
Shaking his head for a moment, he let out a sigh of annoyance. He was going to exploid at the rate Gaara kept testing his nerves. "Look," He began bluntly, sounding as if he was restricting children from breaking a valuable. "Whether you can sleep or cannot, we are in to position to drop all guard on you. So, either you can go back and rest, or you can stay up with us." This wasn't exactly much of a choice for Gaara, and that's exactly why he said it like he did.
