i bought my self *ok so my mom bought them* a sweat band for my wrist and a t-shirt.

I'm going to see it for my birthday (may 15)! It just happens to be here on tour then. I want to see it in actual new york, though. I don't have any RENT-head friends to go with though, so I'm stuck with my mom...and she's never listened to the OBC soundtrack. I'm scared of how she'll react to contact...

Haha. I went with my mom (who loved it) this past summer. After the show, I mentioned something about it being more R-rated than the film, and she was like, what? How so?

Um...Contact? She completely had no idea what that scene was about XD

That being said, I sat through You Can Be As Loud As the Hell You Want with both my parents in London...Contact's not as blatant as that, I'd say, and they jus laughed through the entire performance of Avenue Q (who doesn't?)
