Welcome to my story! I never ever finish stories i try to write, so i will try my best to finsih this one, even if it gets extremely boring.
EDIT: 18/4/07- i wanted to change the story...so everything i wrote goes byebye!! luckily, i wrote the things that are replacing them, so you wont notice ;P

Blurb just a sample of the things to come...
A Story of Destiny is a tale about a 14 year old girl named Serena, and her 4 friends Amelie, Mae, Talise and Shanti. Five ordinary girls making their way through high school. ---so they thought.
When they all meet Caspian and his faithful companion Luca, they realise things are never going to be the same ever again! When strange things start happening, the world is left in the hands of 5 teenagers, a large bird, and the suprisingly calm & mysterious Caspian. Can they even be sure he is trustworthy? They will just have to follow their hearts, and try their hardest to save the world. Especially when the person you see when you lookin the the mirror is no longer you.....
Authors notes
I got the ideas for this after reading the manga mew mew power. Some other small ideas are from various anime and costume design later on are by my friend evil_fuzzle2 and I. mrgreen

PROLOGUE- What started as a dream
2000 years ago.
Strange lights fill the sky and loud explosions can be heard somewhere close by.
An entire civilisation pays the price. An unsuccessful mission means the end--or does it? A hero makes a decision, to hold off the final judgement. To save themselves. He holds a precious jar, sealed with a spell. He has stolen it from the wizard Merlin himself. He's breaking the law just by laying his eyes upon it, let alone holding it....and now he is about to open it.
Nothing else matters right now, he knows what he must do. He grips the jar tightly, closes his eyes and chants, "Sources of light with ancient spin, send forth the magical powers within. Oracle of the sun, allow a new beginning! Water, keep your tides at bay! Earth, forgive us! Fire- hold back the final judgement! Moon, turn back time!!! Solar,Lunar, Earthern, Water, Explosive force, come forth and SAVE, OUR, EARTH!!!"
He forces open the lid and as he does so he is surrounded by a blinding light. Images of five creatures flash before his eyes. "An eagle, a bat, a dolphin, a dingo and a rabbit". He mutters, naming them all. His eyes widen as he realises, they are all symbols of Tsukiko, Miki, Ren, Fiametta and Yoko, these truly are the oracles of legend. He was the only one on Earth who knew what they looked like, and even he could not describe their individual appearances.
"OI, STOP!" voices shout from behind him, but he ignores them.
"I am glad, for the future rests in good hands." He says smiling. Instantly, he looks up to the heavens as five spheres of light fly towards the sky. Flying into infinity
"Many years from now, history will repeat. It's something that cannot be avoided again. Will those of the future survive what we did not? Only time will tell".

Chapter 1- Starting Over
"Serena, are you finished yet? You're going to be late for school!"
"Huh?" I look at my watch. In just a few seconds, it will be eight o'clock. "OK mum!"
"The first day of school..." It takes fifteen minutes to walk to my new school by foot. That's right! I just moved here from Japan, but i don't mind since i was actually born right here in Australia and only moved to Japan when i was 9. So now I'm back again....
The sky is a clear blue colour today, and i can just feel the excitement in the air. "waaaaaa~" (wow~~). It's really amazing. Today it is forecasted to be fine and sunny and there is a slight breeze blowing. How nostalgic!! I'm so excited, though I'm not really sure why.
"DING DONG~!" The school bell rings as i approach. The school is made up of five main blocks; the R block, centred around the west of the school. the C and A blocks, located near the Gym, with A being the second storey of the C block. the J block, next to the football oval and finally, the G block above it. There's also an office block for teachers staffrooms and administration for students to report to. Lastly, there is a large soccer oval next to the carpark right in the front of the school. "waaaaaa~" (wow~). "This school is so HUGE!!" i practically shouted. I hope I don't get lost...
Now...."eeto...." (umm...) I began, flipping over a piece of paper that had instructions printed on it to tell me where to go. "I have to report to administration to collect a timetable, then i should find out where my locker and homeroom is".
I quickly tucked the loose strands of hair behind my ear and headed for the office. "May i help you?" the yound woman at the desk asks.
"aah, yes. I'm the new student and i need to pick up a timetable." I reply.
The lady looks down at a piece of paper before reading, "aaah...last name is Tanaka? here. This is your timetable and locker number. It should also have your homeroom and teachers printed on there somewhere..." she explains before a phone next to her rings and she goes to pick it up. "Hello? Viewbank College administration office, how may i help you?" she asks.
"Thank you" i say, leaving her to the phone call.
After putting my bag in my locker, I headed for room 17, my new homeroom. "It's a good thing 17 is one of my lucky numbers" i assure myself. I knock on the door and enter. "Oh! And here she is now class!" the teacher announced. "and what took you so long?" the teacher joked. Well she seemed nice enough... "Uhh, I'm very sorry Miss, I.." I began before she interrupts. "Come now! Stand in front of the class, don't be silly. My name is Ms. Dylan and this is the rest of your form class" She said as she waved her hand around the room.
"Ok" i began, "Well...Hi! It's nice to meet you all!" i said cheerfully. "My name is Serena Tanaka, I'm 14 and just moved here from Tokyo!" At this the class chattered amongst themselves, all asking the question I'd heard before. But it was the teacher that beat them to it, "Goodness, your english is so good though!" she praised.
"well, you see, I used to live here when i was 9 before moving to Japan. And since i talked english with my parents as well as Japanese at school...I'm pretty fluent at both" I explained.
"Wow, you must be pretty lucky then! You know, it just so hapens that I teach Japanese, and enjoy it very much! It'll be a pleasure teaching you Serena!" she said happily. She really was enthusiastic! "Now...where can you sit? How about...." The teacher began, looking for a spare seat, stopping when she found one. "there! You can sit right next to Mae, okay?" she said as she asked Mae to raise her hand. I nodded and walked to my seat.
Once i was seated, the girl next to me introduced herself, "Hello I'm Mae, pleased to meet you!" She smiled happily. "How do you like it here in Melbourne so far?"
"Truthfully, it feels like starting over." i replied.
"Okay class, settle down! It's time for the lesson to begin!" Ms. Dylan announced. "First period is Japanese!" The whole class groaned, clearly annoyed. But my insides were jumping for joy. I couldn't help but smile.

"Lucky you!", Mae commented beside me.
This caused my smile to get larger. I think i might just like this class.
Twenty minutes into the lesson, and the teacher was going around asking students random questions. "core wa nani?!?!" (what's this??@??@) she was telling off a student who had been found with his mobile phone out. "sorry miss...." he muttered an apology before shoving it back into his pocket. The rest of the class not being quizzed (or interogated, as some put it) were supposed to be copying notes into their workbooks. I opened mine and began to copy.
"Hai! Serena san no petto wa nan desu ka" (Yes! Serena, do you have a pet?) the teacher asked, approaching me. Without hesitating, I answered, "inu desu. namae was scottie desu"
"iidesu yo" she replied happily before walking off. I turned to look back at Mae who was staring at me blankly.."Nani?" i asked...."I mean, err... what is it?" i corrected myself.
"WHAT WAS THAT??" she asked, confused. "I-it's not that I...i mean, i didn't understand a thing!" she spat out before dramatically "collapsing" on her desk. " ...'m bad a japanese..." her muffled voice complained.
"Really?" i asked. "but it's easy when you get used to it, and really, it's very handy!" i replied. "i can help you if you like! see..." and it continued like that for the rest of the lesson. "okay...." Mae said finally. "i think"
The teacher continued around the room for the rest of the lesson, praising various students, "sugoi! sono toori desu! iides yo!" (great! exactly! good!)
Even i was thankful when the lesson ended, and i walked down the corridor with Mae. She was the only person i had met so far, and that was sort of a coincidence because i was assigned to sit next to her in Japanese. "here" she said, handing me a piece of paper. "our class is having an excursion to the city, and we are visiting an art museum." I read the form as she explained. "wow....it's a very special museum too, the victorian art gallery, i've heard alot about it." Mae said happily.
"do you draw?" i asked her and she nodded.
"but im not very good..." she said sadly.
"i dont believe that!" i said
