Ahmadas sat, rather calmly in fact, at the base of a tree - located not so far outside of the den he had found for pair. It had been a nice few weeks with the female, and he couldn't say that he missed travelling. In fact, the break had been something he needed. He had been pushing himself to the limits, travelling so far and for so long, he forgot everything: his friends, the ones he grew up with that he could almost call a family, and his own roots.

Being here, most of all with Jahala, had been an amazing time. His eyes swivelled up towards her, lingering on her a moment. He had found a home, in the lands he had always admired and with someone he was growing increasingly fond of. This fondness, however, was taking a different sort of turn.

He was afraid to admit it to her, but he knew from the beginnig of the last moon that he wouldn't be able to walk out on her for any reason. He was undoubtedly hooked to the pretty thing. There was no way to know how she would react - was the girl, so young at heart, ready for a serious relationship of any kind?

He just smiled and turned his eyes away, back to the horizon that had so entranced him with its rising sun. The fingers of yellow and orange reached out across the pale sky of morning, aching for the bursting new day. It was beautiful, and so was she.

She was growing incressingly worried from the silence. Then the look. A look that Ahmadas was giving her was so confusing to her. The expression began to eat har alive as she moved a little closer to him trying to get him to talk.

"Ahmadas...What am I gona do?" She said really worried about being alone. "I used to not care but now...My worlds been thrown upside down."

Ahmadas just smiled to himself as he heard her words, though it wasn't the smile he usually wore. Deep down, he wondered what it was that she really meant, and he wasn't sure that he could help her. He would try, his hardest in fact, to quell whatever fear was eating at her heart - but, honesly, he wasn't sure he was going to be very good at all if she brought up the wrong subject.

"Sit down, weasel, tell me what's wrong." He scooted slowly to the side, resting his head gently on his forepaws and waiting for her to take a seat beside him. It was one they were often comfortable with doing, that cuddling, that they had done since the nights in Kusini began to grow cold with winter's breath. Still, he knew that sooner or later, one of them was going to have a change of heart.. for better or for worse.

She moved over to him and snuggled close from the wind blowing againts there pelts. "Mmm..." She shivered a little and moved even closer to him. "Ahmadas." She said softly pausing then began again. "If...if I asked you to stay," She nibbled on her bottom trying to get the courage. "Would you?"

Ahmadas sighed softly as she curled up next to him, slowly slipping his tail around her slender little form to ensure her that it was fine to be there. She was jumpy, and he could tell, and that meant there was something on her mind. If staying was her only concern, then that really wasn't the problem, but he was convinced that it was something more important that she had locked away deep down - something she, more than likely, about to tell him.

"Of course I would, little weasel. If you needed me here, then I most certainly wouldn't up and leave you, where would be the reasoning in that, hm?" He smiled in an attempt to cheer her up, leaning to place a gentle nibble just on the tip of her left ear, then slowly turned away to stare at the horizon. She wore her nervousness out on her sleeve, but he bottled his up deep inside of him.

She began to grow a bit calm as she leaned into him a little and watched the sun set slowly. She then moved to rest her head againts his as she rubbed her cheek gracefully over his.

"Will you stay a little longer then?" she said softly almost in a whispered. She closed her eyes bracing herself for then anser as she moved a little away but not to much.

Ahmadas smiled weakly as he heard her voice, weighing all the different tones that sank through the extent of her words. He knew there was nervousness there, just like her every action and motion suggested, and he knew that meant she had someone else on her mind. This was just a part of the big picture, and he knew he wasn’t going to be able to begin to understand it until he knew a few more things. As silly as she was, her mind was just as complex as any other being he had ever met – maybe with the exception of some of the crazier characters, but he could certainly do without all of them.

Of course I will. I wouldn’t leave you when you needed me, and you certainly seem like you do. ” He smiled, glancing away, though he knew his own little heart was racing, not for any reason he could pinpoint, but he had an idea over what the feeling, being that he was so unfamiliar with it, was. “Why do you need me here so badly, though, weasel?” A simple question, but he wasn’t entirely sure the answer would be as easy as that.

"Ohh..umm." She grew quite as she looked at her front paws softly glancing from one to another. she took a deep breath as she looked up to the sun finally setting.

"I want to still explore after we find my home I want to explore around it." She said trying to pull off a good white lie. She like him alot but she just didn't seem read to express the feelings.

He watched her for a few moments, reading her like an open book (like you could so many of the creatures now-a-days), but smiled in the end. If she wasn't ready to say anything about the subject, then neither was he, and he was glad for now. It was hard to work up what to say to her, especially in a manner that she would understand. He had faith that she knew there was some connection between them, but he was more than happy with letting it be that simple for now.

"Well, I'm sure you could do that just fine without me, but I'm flatter that you would rather do it with me. Of course I'll stay, I like to explore," he finished with a chuckle. He lay his head upon his paws calmly, staring up at the sky. This wouldn't be so bad - at least, if he had to settle down somewhere, it was at least somewhere beautiful.

She nodded a little as she yawled and curled into a ball a little. She wrapped her tail around his just bearly.

"So tomorrow we get some breakfest then explore?" She said in another yawn. she moved more onto her side as and rested her head on one of her paws.

"Maybe we'll find another butterfly." She said softly before drifting off into a light sleep.
