there are no fossils in my town. none at all. everday I check, and there are just NONE, NOT ONE SINGLE FOSSIL.
does anyone else have this problem?

 It's actually really hard to find the fossils during the autumn time. The scars in the ground hardly show up at all. It takes almost an eagle eye or great luck to find them.
Also, I've heard there are less during the autumn months.

I had that problem for a few days, until I noticed that sometimes they're blended in the the edges of thoe grass patches.

I've been falling into pitfalls due to the change in the ground. So it's not really glitch, it's just that they're really hard to find right now. Wait until it starts snowing. sweatdrop

NO, you dont understand, its been like this CONSTANTLY, I am telling you, there are no fossils. I have no trouble seeing the pitfall AT ALL. its not that I cant see the fossils, its that there NOT THERE. surely someone must know what the heck this is about!!!

I don't know enough about how games work to really tell. But I have a lot of extra fossils if you have wifi I'll give them to you.

I've never had that problem. In fact, I've never gotten an "oid" ever. Only fossils. XD I guess it's just luck or something.

It is possible that is a fault with your game since apparently (although this could only be an average) you're supposed to get three chances for fossils per day (it definately only said chances mind you...)
[EDIT] The source of the info is when I spoke to a fossil mad neigbour.

I just remade my town, but I regret not saving my full mush set, or my metroid... oh well, i think I know what the problem was.
do you know when you rebuild your town, and the game erases the town data and askes you not to turn your game off? well, thats EXACTLY what I do, because I dont like waiting for it to erase everything, since turning it off in the middle of the process is faster than waiting. so I guess I messed up some data or something, because I found a whole messa (3)fossils after waiting for my old town to completely delet! woot.
