In your opinion, what bands could do really butt-kicking music for video games, either background music or music for cut scenes and credits?

I personally like Machinae Supremacy. They're from Sweden...I think, and they do play techno-ish background music for video games. I suggest you check them out if you like that sort of thing.

I saw one for FFVII: Advent Children done by Aqua. -cringe- It was hiliarious though. I reckon. If the music can suit the scenes, it's good.

Linkin Park all the way, lots of their songs would fit nicely in certain games.

I think Utada Hikaru should do more games than KH. She's amazing. But yea, Linkin Park for cut scenes... all the AMVs with them are pretty good ^_^
