After not playing for almost a month, I passed Exotic Ethnic on heavy doubles today. You know what that means? It means I should play less. Because I get better when I don't try. xd
Anyone else done really well without playing?

I didn't play for about a month or so because I recently moved and between settling in and finding a nearby arcade (that doesn't cost a fortune). But when I got back to playing I found I was able to handle standard a lot easier.
Now I'm trying to move up to Heavy.

Mabye not trying the game for a while and wanting to try harder so you could get back into the game helped you win. I don't think it is the fact that you stopped. I think it is the fact that trying harder helped you win.

DDR FACT: its almost impossible not to improve after not playing.
actually, a friend did some tests on a university with a DDR setup. subconsiously you store DDR patterns, but only when succesfully tried. just reading from a Stepchart doesnt do much, but muscle memory does.

Wow... all these accomplishments make me feel so insignificant... gonk
Yeah, I went for over a month without playing, and I was just getting started on Heavy mode (Kick the Can on Heavy was a major thing for me), then I finally went to play at an arcade and passed some 8-footie songs and things I hadn't done before... I listen to the music alot... maybe that had something to do with it... mrgreen
