Remember this is all theory. Similar to According to the element only with a different theme.

The elements play an important role when casting spells and the like. Some learn faster than others, some takes time.

***When i mean awakened, the element may or may not be realized by the person. This usually happens during the adoloescent years

Fire: (Raw energy)- People born under the element of fire may have their element awakened faster than the others. Even without formal magickal training, fire people have strong magickal power although most of it can be triggered only by extreme emotion like anger or elation (but probably not sadness), unless the person can already control it. Raw energy means it would be hard for them to manipulate their energy. Sometimes, so much energy is released that physically the person radiates heat. During this time the person will feel weak but at the same time doesn't. The will of the fire people are the strongest that is why their magick 'transmits' easily.

Water: (Fluid energy)- The awakening of water in people is pretty average. Not too fast yet not too slow. Water people's energy flow very much like a stream, slow during calm weather and fast during harsh weather. What does this mean? It means that like fire element it 'transmits' easily(e.g. healing), but oppositely it can be triggered with even a slight change of emotion. Water people's energy flow constantly in and out that alot of times they will feel weak, then strong, then weak again then strong again. If not contained, their energy can be easily stolen.

Air: (Volatile energy)- The awakening may be a bit later than the rest but not the last, though there are cases of air people are triggered to be awaken prematurely. Air people have the ability to 'adapt'. If you think about it air can move boulders, water and fire. But that doesn't mean they have the power over it. It simply means it can influece them. After the awakening of the element of air, people would instantly feel it but not necessarily recognize it. Sometimes they will mistake it for fire, water or earth but eventually they will realize its true form. Air people can contain their powers easily but has a volatile nature ---> Meaning hard to control.

Earth: (Resistant energy)- This element has the longest time to awaken. But even during its dormant state it will protect its weilder to from magick or physical harm. Earth is basically a passive element because its energy is constantly surging only inside the person. It rarely goes out even in extreme cases. That is why earth people use different means, herbs, leaves, fruits, earth, stones, as mediums instead of directly using it. It is amongst the most versitile and powerful element.

The planets are not nessissarily the way your element is given. In my particular case i am a pices and a very watery person, so they do play a part, but i do know a spell/ritual to determine what true element one is if you are interested.
