Apparantly the three Voice Dance peices are very popular, and we just recently received the third in choir class. It's fun as heck xd I looked up the other two, and they're all AMAZING.
Has anyone else heard of these?
Ugh, in the third one, there's a part that goes all "hey yah oo wah da da ee yah da tah da way ee hey yah-ah doo way yah de ee" after the guys go "Hey yah way ee hey yah way ee hey yah way ee hey yah doo wah da ee"
It's crazy. I can't see half the people in the choir memorizing it, because they're slackers. But I love it so far ^_^

Our Chamber Choir at School is singing the first voicedance and I love it alot!!! The vowels and syllables it emphasizes along with my bass part make it awesome to sing. I heard #3 at my friends school and it was more jazzy than the one I am singing now, but i liked it all the same!!!
Can you give me a link to the first vicedance mp3 if you found one?

i probably have heard some voice dance songs but i cant recall ne at this point in time. the chors in my school have probably sang them too. i'm just kinda oblivious sometimes. lol

We sang the first Voice Dance in my jazz/advanced choir 2 years ago.

XP probably because you're a bass! xd
Yeah, the bassline isnt bad, but I dont find it as compelling as the tenor line. The harmonies in the bass, though, once the section gets it down... wow, just GREAT X)

We just started looking at voice dance three and it reminds me of something hawaiian lol. We did the second one two years ago and it was fun but my mom hated it, she'd go to concerts and say " Are you singing that bing-ching-a-ling thing again?" I wonder what she's gonna say when we sing this one lol

We sang the first Voice Dance in Chorale what two years ago now? It's one of my favorite pieces of music ever, but I can't find a recording of it anywhere sad . I can't even find it on youtube, only VD two and three.
