Pretty much everything minus the town hall is on one side of the map. Not bad I guess.
Though my pond is in a strange place. It's an okay layout, but not the best.

Erm. Shops close to gate... I have an island with one house on it. A pond's right in front of the gate. I have good soil on my beaches, 'cause I have tons of coconut trees crammed all over them. That's the best. Soon my best feature will be all of my trees on a grid. And in the gaps where they refuse to grow will be flower beds. w00t. cool ninja

My set up is pretty cool. The Town Hall is directly south of my house, and the Museum is directly south of that. Nooks is right to my right. The Gate is a little bit to my left.

Holy s**t...thats exactly like mine....maybe we have the same set up.
