Well the end of this definately made you hold your breath.
I loved that as jugdemental and untrusting as Veronica can be in the end it was the people she had lost faith in that we're there for her. crying
I think it was one of the better episodes of the season.

I can't believe she went back in the Fitzpatrick's bar! xd
Can't wait for Weevil and Mac...and Wallace to get back.
(I wish I had the money to pay for these people to be in ever episode. rolleyes )

i think the "plan a perfect murder" assignment is going to come back to haunt us.

OMG!!!! This episode was amazing!! I had goosebumps in the last five minutes. Now this is the VM that I have come to know and love. The stupid girl who went into the Styx AFTER she told her not too. Hello. Yeah, seriously, I know they have to pay the actors and all, but I have seen Mac in like 2 episodes and it sux, especially since I haven't seen Weevil that much either. I'm glad V finally caught up with us and realised that Mercer's show was on when Parker was raped. The GQ thing just makes me suspect the frat guys more, since they are the most likely suspects to be looking in GQ or using anything that might come in it. And Kalpini, you just gave me a brilliant idea. What if the person didn't just plan the perfect murder, what if they actually commited it. Rumor is there's a second mystery dealing with that subject. It could also be that Tim or Dr. Landry reads one and follows up on it. I have minimal faith in the latter, but you never know.

Veronica's too cynical for my tastes. As was said in another thread, she's taken to being super suspicious and overly zealous in her investigation, and it seems really out of character. Also, even though I do understand her anger towards Keith and Logan, she was all too hard on them. Keith may be her shining example but he's also human, and Logan may be the "bad boy" stereotype, but he's not really a bad boy to Veronica. She just jumps to the worst conclusion possible and writes them off for it, no ifs, ands, or buts, no explanation even considered. Meryl was Veronica's antithesis, and maybe, just maybe, Veronica learned something about how to treat the people she loves.

Gah, and the situation with the professor. I can see where she thinks he's buying her off, but she approaches everybody she meets as if they had ulterior motives instead of actually being straight-forward and honest. Keith was right, she's way too jaded.

The last five minutes were pretty scary though. I wish Veronica, who obviously knew that something was wrong and should have known better, stayed in a place where there were a lot of people and used her phone. That's what they're for! I was so glad Logan found her on time. Freaked out for reals.
