Well, this is a picture that took me a good 4 hours to the final version >< I started it on a piece of regular 8x11 computer paper. I wanted to go for a slight WoW nightelf with my own twist/adjustments to it. I didn't really have a background on it, so I decided to draw a fence with a stary skyish type thing behind. When I was done with the sketch, I scanned it into my laptop cleared up some areas. Then, I took a piece of BRISTOL smooth paper *a little heavier than cardstock* and placed it over my laptop screen. From there, I carefully made new light lines on the Bristol paper. I then added more refined lines and then re-scanned it into my computer. Now, you have the final copy to see ^_^

Incorrect. I like it a lot. Its a great start. Personally, I can't draw people or figures at all so its all amazing to me. Can't wait to see a finished version with colour.

You might get more responses if you tell a little about the piece in your first post.

Very nice, though I think the arms are a bit short. Is there supposed to be an ear on the other side of her head, or do they point back? Either way, a cute piece.

arms and neck are a bit short, the face is a bit wide for an elf.. other than that, good concept. good work.

ยป The design for the character itself is nice, but I suggest to take a look at anatomy. Especially hands and arms, extremities, etc. Look at how clothing drapes, too. You'd be able to draw the folds a bir better if you did.
