Jettrick I think you can actually see a blurred picture of Davros in one of the screens on the final teaser trailer so yeah, starting to look like they are going that route...let's hope the PC squad don't object too much to the portrayal of the ultimate evil as a disabled old man xD Looked to me more like a blurred Dalek, and from the pictures here Davros doesn't look all gooey and slimy and "eugh"...
Well, the bet's on ^ ^!

I suspect the Dalek Emperor was none other the Davros himself. In Revelation of the Daleks he was experimenting with converting human tissue into daleks. In Remembrance he was sheding the last vestiges of his kaled form and becoming more dalek like. The Emperor in the new series could have been the end result of Davros' final mutation. The original daleks would have considered these human based daleks abominations, only Davros and his faction would allow such mutations.
