Bowie alert!
Placebo's best of cd and dvd both get released in the UK and Europe (america to follow) on the 25th of this month.
Titled 'Once More With Feeling' - the cd contains all their a-sides from 1996 to 2004 [including Without You I'm Nothing with David Bowie], plus two new songs - I Do and Twenty Years. A limited edition of the album comes with a bonus disc of remixes too.
As for the dvd - it contains all their videos, including Without You I'm Nothing with David Bowie, and a wad of extra material - and Placebo+Bowie's Brit Awards 1999 performance of 20th Century Boy is among the extras.
All in all - a perfect time to get into the best band around today, and with added Bowie factor! whee

Will this thing be out in America by Christmas so I can sucker someone else to buy it for me??? twisted
I need it!!!! I LOVE Placebo. It's one of my favorite bands EVER. And they don't get a lot of attention in America so I don't get to see or hear them as much as I should crying

The cd's easy enough, and the dvd is Region 0 - so it plays everywhere! whee

Im going to post this in here as it seems the most appropriate place...
once more with feeling - the london gig last night was amazing - purely singles, some slightly remade for the concert - robrt smith (lest i think that was his name....) came and did a couple of songs with placebo which was simply awe inspiring. Brian really does look good.....
Warm up bands were the departure and harr marr superstar
It was just fantastic really - next time they tour (which in this country is sadly not till 2006) people should go, its a really fantastic night out - nd placebo fans are also really nice!

Their voices blend so well. I love their song together. My fave song by Placebo - Protege Moi, My sweet Prince, Pure Morning..stuff like that.
