I've been to other people's towns, and the animal's houses come in nice shades of blues and greens. Mine are all brown and white. Why can't I have different colored houses in my town? What determines house color?

I think that the house "style" is randomly generated. In my town there is the same general style of houses, but some villagers have green houses, some have blue and some have white.
