It was quite easy to say that the young lioness blushed at the formality in which Kimaji spoke. Polite, but she was quite unused to it, regardless. "I thank you Kimaji. It's quite nice to be home finally... I feel like I finally belong somewhere." Smiling, she nodded to the young one's words about the Storm King. Somehow, they'd figure out how to bring the rains back, it was just a matter of time, that's all.

"Regardless of the problem, it is sure that we'll be in his favor once more if we just believe it enough." Turning to look at Kizuka, she nodded slightly. "As long as he stands for what we believe in, and doesn't end up like the firekin..." she snarled the last word for emphasis, "then he'll be just fine here, I'm sure."

Kizuka nodded at all of this. She leaned down to give her daughter's cheek a loving nuzzle; Kimaji was earning a great deal of her mother's respect for behaving so well. Not that Kizuka had ever thought she wouldn't, but Kimaji also hadn't met many other lions in her life time. At least, few that her mother knew of. The larger lionest agreed with her Queens words, as she likely would most often and rose to shake he dust from her fur. It was obvious how skinny she was when she did that, most of her ribs beginning to show through her skin. They'd been in these lands for a good long time, there could be no doubt of that.

"It grows dark," She said softly, glancing up towards the sky. "would you have us speak with the other pride members today.. or do you think it better for us to wait? Either way, it is getting near time to hunt, for those who need it."

Kimaji didn't know much about these Firekin that Queen was talking about, but from the way she snarled, it sounded bad. Were they the lions that stopped believing in the Storm King? She'd have to ask Mommy about all of this later. As of right now...it would probably be a bad idea to bring up a new conversation. It just wasn't polite.

The not-quite cub nuzzled her Mommy back and remained silent while the adults spoke. She had spoken her peace...there was nothing else to add.

Kizuka's condition wasn't lost on her, she did make note of it. Family ought not look that way, and she felt slightly self concious of the fact that she herself was well-rounded, lean, but not quite as lean as Kizuka herself. She'd ate well, since she took down that water buck in the pridelands. Mufasa had made sure of that, while she was healing. Shaking her head slightly at the thoughts, she turned back to the older lioness.

"Indeed, it's time to get moving, one way or another," she paused thoughtfully. "Whichever is good for you. I cannot guarentee a meal waiting for us with the others, though." Kindly trying to skirt around Kizuka's lean condition, Masika sighed for a moment. "You're welcome to follow me, but feel free to go about your business if you like. If you'd rather go out on a hunt, and find your friend, that's fine. I know where to find you, and will alert the others to your presence as I come upon them again. You'll be safe to come and go as you please, I'm sure. If you would like to come back with me, that's alright too. Just let me know what you'd be more comfortable doing." Smiling, Masika rose to her feet, stretching out in a most cat-like way, her claws extending slightly as she arched her back. Canine teeth were shown in a less than fearsome way as she yawned, a most un'queenly like gesture she was sure, but it felt good to do, none the less. Without much thought, she calmly waited for her companions' response, giving them ample time to decide without pushing them.

"I don't think today would be a good day to meet the pride," Kizuka responded after a thought. "I'd rather come presenting the three of us, rather than a broken set, as it were. Besides.. intruding at meal times isn't exactly polite." She gave a light chuckle at that, proving the intended humor behind it.

The yawn actually was rather comforting to be seen from the maw of a queen. She tipped her head down towards Masika, a part of her pushing the lioness slowly off the pedestal her mind had unknowingly built. It wouldn't do good to see a ruler as unfalliable, no matter that some truly believed that of themselves. "Thank you, though. I appreciate your help in this, and hope we will meet again soon."

Nodding, Masika inclined her head as well. She was, without realizing it, fitting quite well into the role she'd been born into. "I'm sure we will meet again soon. Be sure to remember my name, it may come in handy, in case you're questioned while inside the lands. Doubtful that'll be needed, but one can't be too careful around here."

With that, the young princess turned to head back the way she'd come. It was getting late, and while she was certain she could find her way back no matter what, it wouldn't do to go wandering around in the dark. "Take care, both of you. And I wish you luck finding your friend as soon as you would like." Tossing her head slightly, 'Sika broke out into a trot, slipping away from them like a ghost in the wavering, sweltering heat.
